Core gameplay is very fun, but there is absolutely no matchmaking at all. Also probably no future for bap bap since it seems like the devs eat crayons in their free time

Have experienced two crashes in first 5 hours of game play on AMD card. Definitely will be ironed out but also very playable and not nearly as bad as some are saying. Game runs at ~80 fps on high settings normally, even with 30+ enemies and explosions on screen. Gameplay and shooting is stellar, very fun. Maps and missions seem to have great variety and replayability. Progression, unlocks and upgrades seem to be given at a good pace and are fun to work towards. The visuals, atmosphere and tone of this game are also top notch. Overall a great experience.

last update added an AI that listens to your every word, both in private and public lobbies. Any "toxicity" that the robot without feelings detects gets stored and sent to the devs for review. Was a good game, rip project winturd

Base gameplay is great, but the campaign levels range from pretty good, to barely playable. Game is extremely short, ~5 hours for a first play through. I would say maybe 1.5-2 hours of that is actually fun and not a chore. The actual fun parts are where they put you in a map with enemies and items. That’s all it takes for this game to be great.

For some reason they added multiple parkour maps with no enemies, a roller coaster level that’s almost cool but goes on way to long, a giant moon with not one single enemy or item in the game, a solo go kart track with no enemies and bad controls, and a parkour map with enemies which is actually worse than parkour without enemies. Body swapping is fun and works really well, but there are no reasons to actual pick anyone other than the same 2 or 3 of them.

I’d wait for modders and level makers to make actual content for this game before buying. As it stands, Bonelab is a fun tech demo that no one on the dev team knew how to build a game with.
