Final Fantasy Tactics set in a Wuxia world. Combat normally limited to 5 characters in your team although there may be more than 5 in certain story battles. By the end of the game, able to recruit a roster of 20+ characters, each with their own background and stories.

Able to challenge NPCs to combat ala Radiata Stories to win items in their inventory, and learn their skills.

Protagonist able to specialise in 1 of 5 weapon types (Knuckle, Sword, Staff, Sable, and Throwing Weapons), each with their own skill set and specialties. Other characters are limited to one weapon type. Gear and Weapons have 10 tiers (X, IX, VIII, until I) with X being the worst and I being the best. You have to beat the crap out of the strongest characters (the leaders of Shaolin, Wudang, Liushsan, etc.) to earn recipes to craft the strongest gear and learn the strongest skills.

Fans of turn-based games would like this. There is also a real-tme option where every character's turn takes place in real time time, like a mini RTS game, something like the Growlanser series of games.

Overall, pretty fun. Would rate it 8.5/10.

One of the achievements for Free Battles is bugged. Not recommended until it is fixed.

Great, but held back by having to manually remove furniture to ensure that the residents breed with each other like the lemmings they are. Eugenics is necessary to win the Fitness contest.

Charming and solid JRPG. Would have been much better if there wasn't terrible RNG for material drop rates, especially ingots at the Solosseum.

If you can get past the basic graphics, you'll find one of the best tactics games ever made.

Aloy is a sci-fi Witcher.

As good as Fire Emblem (gameplay mechanics, not story).
