Cannot merge with pre-existing miHOYO account.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010... the first of the series with Criterion Games in the lead.
Leaving everything behind like Undercover or Shift, the game tries to come back to the roots of Hot Pursuit line, after a few minutes of playing I can feel I'm playing Hot Pursuit 2 with better graphics. So if you come from the Street Racing series, I would say watch the other way around.
The game got the Hot Pursuit 2 essence to its finest, from the old arcade steering, to the annoying unfair police, beautiful scenery and a fair amount of vehicles to choose from. On my own experience, the game has nothing to do with the first Hot Pursuit game, pretty much like NFS:HP2 didn't when it came out, aside from being a race game with police chasing you.

+Great graphics even for today.
+Great sound quality.
+Wide variety of cars.
+Nostalgia factor from NFS:HP2.
+Not an easy game, which can annoy some people but also gives a satisfactory feel.
+Weather/Time changes.
+Being able to play as Racer or Police.
+Fun multiplayer.
+Works good on any PC.
+Got it for $4 at offer.

-Soundtrack not really outstanding, not bad, but most of the time you forget that there is any music at all.
-Stutter problems with modern PCs (fixable).
-Weird handbrake handling.
-The game is clearly a port of the PS/XB version and does not tries to hide it.
-Lack of in-game anti-aliasing, leaving some really noticeable jagged-edges.
-Can get a little repetitive, but hey... that's NFS:HP2 for you.
-Dead multiplayer community.


I don't recommend the game to anyone who comes from the Underground to Undercover series since you can't customize your vehicle, but if you can leave that aside is worth a shot.
I'm grateful with the work of Criterion trying to save the franchise with a different game before EA kept making refried games over and over.
