Has its flaws but it does the gameplay aspect of it SO well. Hard recommend.

FANTASTIC GAME!! 10/10!!!

Deadset, enjoyed this ripper of a game more than farkin' Dark Souls 1. Smoother, more reasonably paced combat, I reckon. Noice as bosses, had a good punch on with those cobbers despite getting king-hit heaps of times. Miyazaki-chan, what a mad cυnt. Gonna down some VB tinnies and smoke cones from a gato billy in his honour. Oath mate, fair dinkum.

Requires quite a bit of research to really get into it and a lot of patience but it's well worth it and very rewarding for those attracted to combat-oriented games and to those willing to persevere. Dark Souls 1 isn't just really good, it was pioneering. The remaster does a satisfactory job of "remastering".

Truly something special. A mystery that hooks you and provides great fun along the way.

Decent puzzles overall, semi-decent look, frustrating time-based puzzles, no story. To be honest I'd recommend just skipping this one and playing INSIDE instead. INSIDE is a spiritual successor to this game made by the same developer but it's much more worth your time than this game in my opinion. To put it into perspective I'd give this game a 6/10 and INSIDE an 8/10.

Greedy devs, overpriced DLC.

Great soundtrack, nice visuals, nice vibe, serviceable but bland gameplay, mediocre level design, pretty poorly designed puzzles, was too bored to finish the game because of these reasons to find out the end result of the story, but if the story is the saving grace of this game then may as well just read up on or watch all the story sections on YouTube.

YES YES YES YES YES. I can't be bothered investing the time and effort in writing in-depth reviews anymore but if I wrote an in-depth, proper review about this game it would be me mostly gushing over this game with just a few minor nitpicks.
