I think im addicted

This game slaps. Super fun battle royale, set in an amazing setting. One of the most unique br maps set entirely in a city making the fights have a super unique dynamic involving alot of verticality. I have yet to run into any blatant cheating and the anti cheat isnt causing any problems for me. Highly recommend giving this game a go.

I've always loved and respected Supergiant's hard work they put into their games. Even though I own all of them, I can't say I truly enjoyed the game play of Bastion, Transistor, or Pyre. I loved the music and visuals the most, and is what kept me playing transistor through the end. I regrettably have never got around to finishing Pyre or Bastion. Being a game play focused person, the fantastic stories in all 3 of these games really wasn't what I was personally looking for when Choosing what game to play on a daily basis. Don't get me wrong, these games are a work of art though and through, I even own a signed copy of the Transistor soundtrack vinyl.

That brings me to Hades. I can truly say without a shadow of a doubt, this is the most pure FUN I have ever had playing a video game. The game play is the best of any rogue like on the market. Possibly the best game play of any isometric game ever created. From the second I sat down, to when I beat the first boss, I had a wide grin on my face the entire time. I cannot express the amount of pure joy this game provides.

The soundtrack and storytelling are also the best out of anything Supergiant has done before. I was distracted by the music at some points because how good it was, I tried to pause just to listen, but the music pauses when you pause too :(. The voice acting is superb and the writing is exquisite (I am very picky when it comes to these things, and it blows my expectations out of the water)

Buying this game at $20 is like being able to buy the Mona Lisa for $20. It truly is a masterpiece in every sense of the word.

Fantastic writing, sometimes it felt a little too real. Very uplifting if you get the right ending.
