Apparently my review doesn't matter because I received Helldivers 2 via a key, but flipping it to 👍 unless Sony acts up again.

Great visuals, good soundtrack and sound effects, enjoyable combat mechanics... but overall pretty run-of-the-mill for an MMORPG. Hoping the story becomes more interesting eventually, but I'm not optimistic about it. Probably more fun if you enjoy PVP and have a group of 10 or more friends, but for solo/occasional small group PVE, it gets stale.

If you enjoy "Match 3" style games with progression mechanics, you'll end up spending anywhere from 1-3 hours per day with this game. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing... that depends on the player. lol

A legendary game gets a legendary makeover. Worth every minute of the hours you'll spend playing it.

Like most "tower defense" games, this one is very addictive (if you're into that sort of thing). Even has a little Portal-themed DLC available featuring GLADoS.

I played this game nonstop after downloading it. I think I wasted my entire Christmas break trying to complete the storyline and every possible "deniable op" in Single Player Mode on "Realistic" difficulty. Very addictive if you like stealth action gameplay. Also has a multiplayer co-op mode that I'm DYING to try.
