THE TERMS OF SERVICE THEY GIVE YOU APPLY TO THEIR COUNTRY ONLY. Anyone saying different is severely misinformed. If you publish a game on steam you must adhere to STEAMS privacy policy. I'm really annoyed, because the devs and publisher are doing everything right with this game, and this is about to ruin it unless more people review the game positively. As of now, all the microtransactions are cosmetic only and pretty non predatory.

If the playerbase takes a hit due to this misinformation, I'm afraid the publisher might go the nuclear route and start letting people pay for power so they can milk the players that are left...

I raced a wooden horsey on a sausage mount to save my friends. Have wanted to play this since watching SoaringSloths speedrun at GDQ.

Only a few hours in and I like it A LOT more than BL3. An entire standalone game of Bunker's and Badasses? Borderlands with SPELLS N SH*T?! SWORDS AND AXES?!?! Right out of the gate it has a lot more character and feels much more like Borderlands (compared to borderlands 3)

Oh and it looks got some serious eyecandy going on. Going in blind I was surprised at how good it looks.

If you're a fan of classic RPGs you should enjoy this. It's every classic game I enjoyed as a child mashed into one. The clever twist of it being a single-player game in an MMORPG is great. They went above and beyond with all the little details that make it feel like an MMORPG.

Combat is great, only gets better the more you play.

Exploring definitely has its rewards and is a puzzle in its own right.

Story has been solid so far. I'm only just getting to the first real Dungeon so I can't say too much about that.

Personally this gets my Game of the Year endorsement. A refreshing game in this Year of Battle Royale games.

This game is the devil. I bought it believing I would get a good 10 or so hours of fun out of it.

Now over 40 hours of gameplay.
Perception of time is altered.

Titan Quest and Diablo 2: LoD had a child.

Grim Dawn is the name.

Donated to this project YEARS ago and I'm so happy it finally got finished. Absolutely smashed my expectations.

Good so far.

Haven't had any performance issues.

Looks amazing, running smooth as butter.

Been waiting for this and damn, it was worth it :^)

I rate 9/10.

First things first: This game caught my eye simply because it looked like a puzzle game HEAVILY inspired by Portal. Don't let that fool you; this game is CHOICE. I was a fan of Portal, not so much Portal 2, and it is my personal opinion that this game could easily have blown Portal apart and made many die-hard fans weep at the lack of content Portal could have potentially utilized.

Amazingess includes:

Graphics and GFX customization options - I've never had the opportunity to see or play ANY form of "game" that has such an in-depth options. I just upgraded my PC a week ago and I spent a good chunk of time just tinkering with the appearance. 10/10

Soundtrack - I haven't heard a soundtrack this provoking in some time. Between the gameplay, graphics, and overall "feel" of the game; this soundtrack is almost too much for my brain to handle (in a good way.)

Gameplay - Diverse and near-sandbox in terms of exploration. While it's linear, you aren't confined to very limited spaces; such as the Test Chambers in Portal. A nice balance of simplicity with overwhelming, at first, scenarios. Just take a minute to absorb everything around you and enjoy!

I'll be updating this review as I progress through the game. As of now it's my second 10/10 game of 2015.
