I used to play Craftopia, which was Jank but still fun. Made by the same Devs they actually try to build for what the players would want. N Fintendo.

The game's actually pretty good, the things that make it not can also be changed through in game settings (elite enemies, level scaling, stat scaling, enemies have full gear slots, enemies have counters, enemies focus on reviving teamates) Some of these drag combat on for a while (even if you too are using broken 'meta' builds). At later points in the game it feels like you're playing a pvp game considering the enemy teams are overgeared, skilled up (some even use broken meta builds), and tend to revive their teammates and even try to instakill cheese your units. It 'can' be difficult, though you have just as much freedom to create broken builds. If you want to min-max you can even reset units to level 1 and keep all of the ap and classes they've gotten. I think the monster taming system is fun, but the monsters classes each have 2-4 moves and 2 abilities which kind of makes them dull in comparison to a regular human character. Story-character only classes feel sub-par compared to the 'badge' classes of non story-character only classes.

Anyone who likes Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Eternal Eyes tactic style games will definitely get their moneys worth at the very least. Definitely hoping they make more or add more dlc.

It's okay. Better with friends, though multiplayer is a little janky at times. Looking forward to updates hopefully more enemies, tames.

If you're into the 'sport manager simulator' and esports you'll probably also like this.
The Esport team names are hilarious in that they're parodies of actual esports teams, but the names of characters you hire are actual named players, personally have seen a lot of big name League of Legends players.
There's not a lot of champions early on which makes it simple enough to get into, starting in a 2v2 game mode (which most people seemingly dislike once reaching 4v4 mode) the meta shifts alot but even if a champ gets nerfed 10x in a row (Swordsman / Knight / Ninja) they still seem to get P/B because they make comps work. Personally had Ninja get nerfed down to around 50hp early on, but when Ghost came out he was still getting picked without a buff and just would int into the backline and die immediately.
There is a New Game + mode that lets you change the difficulty, and how often patches come. At some point if you make it to the pro league early and don't have good statted players you can still win by banning out the team comp that the AI prefers. Comp > Player Skills.

A few voicelines bugged, text where it's being said by the other character but has the MC's name talking instead.

Played over 50 hours since buying it. Need to go to work, send help.
