Since it was free beta i decided to give it a shot. I used to be long time fan of the CoD series, but eventually gave up due to rapid releasing of essentially same game with small twist and having massive amount of useless DLC's.

Played one domination to the full and second game i just had to ALT+F4 out from the game near the end.

So let's sum it up a little:

Positive

- Well it's still pretty action packed shooter game.

- It looked absolutely amazing in trailers.

- That's about it.

- Pretty creative to put the beta game as an separate game so negative reviews wont carry over to the product

- Actually holding a beta so people can actually see what they are buying. Some intern most likely screwed up big time with this idea.

- Game had no real issues hardware wise, then again it looked like an 3-4 year old game so i wasn't really expecting much issues.

Negative

- Nothing has really changed, been many years since last time i played Call of Duty game and this one felt instantly like playing the same game. At one point they had like 3 studios making these turds and they still managed to ship the same game over and over.

- Maps are so small it sucks every bit of enjoyment from the game itself.

- Graphics were clearly designed for console plebs.

- The bayonet charge felt familiar. Oh right i've done that same thing in BF countless times. No wonder it felt so familiar

- Absolutely no innovation at all. It's like they did not try to design a game at all and gave an couple of year old CoD game to an coding sweatshop asking them to turn it into WWII to video game.

- It's direct console port with very minimal effort, you can see it in the settings section pretty clearly. It's not really made for mouse and while it's not end of the world it just shows how little PC matters for Activision.

- It's crappy video game.

All in all i kind of enjoyed the 5 minutes in the first match where most of the time i spent trying to fix my settings. Everything after that just felt like an playing years old CoD game.

Early Access Review
The battle royale we need, but do we deserve it? The game is slow and more tactical than it's counterpart KOTK, but it is far more promising than what other EA br games has to offer. This game hits the nail on the head on many issues that has been plaguing br scene for a while and it's beatiful in most aspects. While the game has many familiar issues like most EA br games does, it still looks very promising.

The good:

- Amazing atmosphere
- Plenty of gameplay inside it, you got always something to look out for while playing either weapon gadgets or healing equipment
- Solo gameplay is tough, but the gameplay is by far best when you play with friends.
- Spectate feature that worked on a fly
- Cars and boats are means to travel from one point into other. They are means to travel you don't want to stick with for too long
- Different guns for every purpose.
- Gameplay rewards for each match in terms of statistics or points that can be used for cosmetic purposes.
- IT'S FUN.
- You get to dictate starting point in the game. (More of it in neutral)
- Second chance feature in Duo/Quad game modes. Your game won't be ruined by random lucky headshot from other side of the game. Gives tactical depth in group play.

The neutral:

- Starting the game is slow, jumping in takes ages. Still it's tactical manuever so this is just personal preference.
- Like most EA games, lacks optimization in order to get solid fps across entire game not just inside houses. Limits low/mid end computers pretty heavily. Hopefully will be fixed in near future.
- Gadgets like Silencer dominate extremely heavily. It's almost like invisibility.

The bad:

- Trying to jump over obstacles or stacks of junk is pure nightmare.
- Gameplay hiccups like getting stuck or massive lag, but i'm confident these are gone by the time this game is released.

Overall it's quality game and the dev's seem to have extreme serious attitude towards delivering THE prestige battle royale game we all want. While i never can advice buying EA game unless you are willing to accept the risks involved i still hope anyone looking at this will give it a shot specially if you got friends to play with. This game is amazing as a group play.

Well getting killed by invisible zombie works out great. Overall it's okay, but massive mess of bugs so i recommend holding out until they either fix the game or forget it.

Since the game is officially released, i fix my review. This game is pretty solid contender for trash tier game awards.

To know the latest. They officially released this game (Pretty much did nothing but push it out and call it full release) and charged people for the game. Once the hype went down a little, they decided to just push the game out as free to play so those who actually spent money on the game copy got massive slap in the face.

Just fyi, the reputation alone on this game means nobody wants to go near it and the popularity often lasts from days to several weeks, after that it's dead game outside prime time.

Don't buy this game folks.

Very solid stand alone game to go with The New Order. It had a lot of action which is good for some and less story, still awesome game and good prequel to the The New Order.

Cheap game and good for some hours.

It's not quite like metal gear solid games you are used to. It's something new and entirely different. Is it good or bad thing? I think it's good thing.

Some good points quickly to go over:

- Open world and it's large
- Atmosphere is very solid and weather effects
- You are getting the respect an soldier of your caliber should be
- Cool story (Small flaws on it as well)
- Developement tools that give you much more control over the game, your men and so forth
- Massive side mission list
- Free approach into how you want to handle any given situation. Sneak, kill, go loud?

Couple of not so good from this game:

- Voice actor...Yes i'm huge fan of Kiefer but it's very clear that voice acting went shout. Luckily Snake does not talk much in this game. I get it Konami wanted new direction with the series, but keeping Hayter was no brainer. Still it's matter of taste and does not take away from the entertainment i find playing this game.

- Story is uninteresting for too long. It starts with a huge bang, rapidly slows down until it picks up again.

9.5/10 I love this game.

StutterMan: Arkham port

Holding hope it will be fixed still this year.

EDIT:

Very well, the game got the much needed patch. The patch that was delayed and still had issues. But since i believe in fair game, i will change my review to involve gameplay since for the first time after buying this game, i managed to play the game.

Pro's:

- The patch fixed many of the issues people have had.

- I can run the game with GTX 660 on lowest settings and it still looks good.

- Gameplay (Combat, movement, gadgets) and story are top notch, like always.

- I love the batmobile.

- Mister J

- Personally i love the game requirement help section. Makes it easy to choice proper settings without much of an hazzle.

Cons:

- Horrible PC port that shadows not just one company, but 3 companies. No excuse for WB to push the PC port with intention that it won't run with most cards.

- No clear support for people with problems with the game. Luckily the community is willing to help each other and i managed to get my copy running just fine. But took some time.

To closure: The game is rock solid and very entertaining, but this game is real proof that greed is still number one driver of the industry. This game had potential to launch on all platform and take those insane scores in an instant...But what happened was massive alienating of an PC community. Which speaks only about how valued we are as customers.

I still love Batman games and Rocksteady for their work, but this put a massive shadow on them, even when it's not their fault.

Hands down. When game is titled Metal Gear Solid you really know that you are expecting a master piece.

+ Insane graphics
+ Snake (Boss) looks like a BIG BOSS
+ Mysterious forces and enigmatic skull face
+ Espionage is actually hard
+ You have a lot of good gadgets
+ It's ported to PC like ALL GAMES SHOULD. Works perfectly and flawless.

- Hayter
- Kiefer Sutherland, while being one of my favorite actors. really makes Snake look like dead fish when opening hes mouth. Massive negative aspect on the game that would be perfect with original voice actor.

I can't wait for Phantom Pain. This game is ported to perfection.
