I have thousands of hours in Overwatch, I can honestly say that the changes they've made in Overwatch 2 have ruined the whole experience. I stopped playing it entirely. I bought Overwatch 1. I played it. I collected all the skins I wanted. I got the full experience. They would sometimes make changes (or add heroes) that people hated, but everyone was on the same playing field.

Now, in Overwatch 2, everything is behind the battle passes. You need to grind absurd amounts of time before you can even play new heroes (unless you pay absurd amounts of money instead) meaning you're UNABLE to play the current meta, each time they (inevitably) add a new overpowered hero that has no counter. Also, skins are now locked behind a PAID tier of the battle pass that you then must also grind for absurd amounts of time, OR PAY to skip battle pass tiers.

Blizzard should let people refund their Overwatch 1 purchases and pay them the interest for holding their money, and then ALSO let them sell the account to someone else, as compensation for the skins that they spent time unlocking, because you literally cannot play Overwatch 1 anymore; the game we actually saw fit to buy.

Fantastic game. It gives us more of what we always wanted from the "roomisode" series, after all these years. If you enjoy the Homestar Runner characters, point & click adventure/puzzle games, or even just clever humor, you'll love this.

Fantastic software. I used Cinema 4D casually for years, and while I had tried earlier versions of Blender, I couldn't immediately figure out how to use them, so I kept giving up immediately. With the release of 2.8 I had heard a lot of great things about the redesigned UI and general QoL and noob-friendly improvements, but never actually gave it a try. Eventually, about a month ago, my friend starting working in Blender and I decided to join him and learn it along with him. This made the process not only easy, but extremely fun. Once you learn the basic differences between this and other software (where everything you want to do is represented graphically like C4D) I've been able to pick up on the more advanced stuff very quickly. I stopped using C4D cold turkey and started playing with Blender nearly every day, and I'm glad I did.

I actually use daily builds of the upcoming version (2.81 right now) but I continue to launch it through Steam so it tracks my playtime, just for fun. Believe it or not, nearly all of the playtime is me actually "playing" Blender, and not just rendering stuff. When I need to render stuff that will take a long time, I'll try to remember to launch it outside of Steam so it's not counted.

Update: I wanted to give little more info about the game's more recent developments since I've seen a lot of reviews that request things or mention bugs that have already been added or fixed.
Most importantly, there is an entirely new (free) update coming called "Mayhem" which about doubles the number of official levels the game has currently.
For the update, the developers actually have been able to rework "not-insignificant" parts of the engine to fix some corner-case physics bugs, as well as several other bugs. The Mayhem update is also adding multiplayer, which already has public beta tests every couple weeks. There will, of course, be classic MBU-style "gem hunt" modes, but several other modes are also being developed.
As far as what the game gives you right now, the workshop now has over 300 levels that you can play immediately. A crazy amount of workshop levels, I'd say well over 90%, are actually a lot of fun and on par with the official levels both in terms of design and aesthetics. They range from simple levels that are fun to speedrun to levels that are as reminiscent of I Wanna Be the Guy, Getting Over It, and Jump King. Most of the levels' difficulty falls somewhere in the middle though, so don't worry. But regardless, it's not like you're going to run out of levels to play any time soon.
< End of update. >

Fantastic game, highly recommended. Made by a lot of the same people as the original Marble Blast games, so I consider this the next step in the evolution of marble games. The quality of the levels is much higher, and there are tons of extremely talented level creators that are constantly adding new levels to the workshop.

Personal opinion rant: A couple of people have said that the game is too short. Part of the reason people may feel it was too short is because they just rolled through each level without caring about their time. There are no par times in this game, unlike Marble Blast, so the more casual players can still play the entire game. But the goal of the game is not to roll through each of the levels once and forget about them; the goal is to figure out how to do each level FAST. But even if you do want to play the levels casually (using checkpoints), it has since gotten 2 entirely new chapters, and there are now hundreds of high-quality levels in the workshop.

So, in my opinion, if you don't get AT LEAST a gold time on a level, I'd say you haven't fully experienced that level. There are also hidden diamond times which should be everyone's true goal. Getting higher tier medals on each chapter unlocks more marbles. Also hidden in each level are "trophies" that unlock marbles. These are easier to get than the diamond times in most cases, and a LOT of fun to hunt for. (Looking for the trophies and figuring out how to get them is personally my favorite part of the game. I hope no one overlooks this hidden treasure.)

There are many more official levels, marbles, and gameplay modes to come (several multiplayer modes). I know I'll still be playing this game for many years. I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of hours spent on this game eventually overtakes all my other games' hours combined.

The Steam Link is a marvelous piece of technology. I have no idea how Valve can sell them as cheap as they do. It's purely altruistic at this point.

While yes, you will experience input delay while playing over a Steam Link, it's not actually that bad. (For reference, I've played games from 20 miles away using Hamachi and Steam In-home streaming, and it's actually doable. Before that I would use Chrome Remote Desktop, but you can't use the mouse to look around.)

The Steam Link will never be a substitute for a direct connection to a computer for fast paced games, but for the price, it is 100% worth it to buy just to play a slower paced game (or even just use your computer) from your living room.

That's not to say you CAN'T play fast paced games; just look at it as a bit of a handicap. xD

I don't get to wear enough hats IRL. If this sounds like you, you should probably start playing TF2. I'm glad I did.
