* I rarely have the time to play, but I do my best to at least try.
* I rarely have the extra cash to buy games, so I'm only buying
the games on sale.
* I enjoy older games which have good content rather than shiny effects.
* I play everything on Linux, which prevents me from playing a lot of
the games in my library.
* A long time ago I used to play a lot of cracked games because I had
no legal way to buy them. Now I buy those games when I can, simply
to reward and thank the developers, even though I probably won't play
the game again.

* I'm not "active" on Steam Forum or SteamGifts, not because I don't
want to be, but because I simply don't have the time. If you're coming
from SteamGifts, by "active", I mean leaving generic "thank you"
comments which serve no purpose. I'll be thankful once and if I ever
win anything. It is otherwise implied I'm thankful to all the people giving
away games to the rest of us who don't have that kind of cash.
