The gameplay is fairly god awful BUT the live action videos are worth chasing, and it has a vibe which kept me going, including some great music queues too.

This game is utterly incredible. A modern CRPG filled with life and humour, likeable characters and an interesting story. Absolutely stonkingly reccommended.

I'm really enjoying this - have been playing over the Easter weekend. Despite the fact it's a game about shooting enemy robot factions with lasers, i've found the experience really quite chill. With a semi-open world, the core gameplay is exploration, information gathering to solve the mystery of the 'signal' and light combat. The exploration, together with the music and general ambience of the world, i've found really quite zen, which is a massive plus in the current global situation we're all in. The combat is light enough to keep you engaged, but not over the top or that often that it becomes the main experience.

The mystery is intriguing and well written - you unlock the story by finding collectable orb-thingies scattered around the world. A really nice sensor system tells you when you get close to one of these, to save you exploring blind to find them. It's well written too which incentivises further exploration of the world, which uncovers some really fun surprises in certain areas too as a reward for poking about the world.

A couple of points to build on for future games - I found the 'maze' structures way more frustrating than fun. Wandering in circles for 10-15 minutes gets old really quite fast. I also found the lore book which comes with the game wonderfully well written, and it really fleshes out the world of the game - however at least 5 hours in only about 10% of that world is explored by the game itself. There's a lot of world building in the lore book which isn't touched in the game (I might be wrong here - i'll update if that changes the more I play).

I also found the shield mechanic slightly annoying during combat - enemies pop up a shield which delays the satisfying 'bang' of destroying them and makes the combat, occasionally, a bit of a chore.

All in all though, highly recommended. Big thumbs up!

FFX and FFX-2 Remastered are a showcase of how to handle ported Final Fantasy games. The games stand up, look great, and feel wonderful to play :)

The achievments would take 99999999 hours to get all of though, so watch out!

Imagine a 1st person cross between N++ and Super Meat Boy. That's Clustertruck. It's great :D

Very limited time with this but it's a really good take on Geometry Wars. Worth a punt in the sale!

Shame it seems to have died a death in terms of sales though :(

A lot of the negative reviews here are due to Early Access buyers being confused (and admittedly poor messaging at the beginning from the devs) on release, regarding F2P and the purchase of Offline or Online only packs.

This is a fantastic Pool game (and Snooker too!) from what i've played so far, with a good number of players online (there was a region issue on release, not anymore).

Please don't let the impatient raging masses put you off. Being able to buy the game for cheap if you only want to play online is a great option i'd like to see more of. The F2P element involves letting you play online, as much as you want, but only in 8-ball pool. You then pay to play all the game modes, and it's cheap, so I don't see what the issue is.

Anyway, if you like pool games, this is the best i've played.
