like the best in the genre, Arranger's simple presentation belies a ton of complexity. it'll stump you, but never for long; just keep trying stuff, and you can always get yourself out of a pickle. funny, charming, and the perfect amount of challenge.

though there are a few rough spots, the game feels incredible to play right now. if the devs keep polishing this gem, it's going to shine.

after a number of years that shall not be named working at the same startup, I've become pretty burned out from the artificial urgency and unending bureaucracy. an all too familiar and seemingly inevitable outcome of corporate life.

but Rusty's Retirement helps me remember to take breaks, and maybe more unexpectedly, motivates me to push through tasks so I can get back to checking my farm. ❤️

I can only hope my own eventual retirement will be as fulfilling as Rusty's!

been playing Stardew off and on since it first came out in 2016, sinking hundreds of hours across multiple platforms. its original incarnation was already beyond addictive and charming, not to mention full of surprisingly deep systems and meaningful life lessons.

since then, the sheer scale and volume of free updates culminating in the awesome 1.6 version has shaped the game into something truly refined and special, equipped with endless secrets and replayability. it's an inspiring, one-of-a-kind achievement! can't wait to see what awaits in Haunted Chocolatier.
