Edit: Serious review time. This game is outstanding.

Comparing it to things like Sonic and Wario Land doesn't do it justice. The inspiration is definitely there, but Pizza Tower shines on its own outside of it with a unique, comical art style full of personality, an incredible soundtrack, snappy controls, and the most passion I've seen in a game in recent memory.

The tutorial is fast and lets you take it at your own pace with visual depictions in the background and room to play around and learn. No walls of text. No hour long cutscenes. It just drops you in and lets you go for it.

Play it slow, play it fast, get through levels however you want or be an insane person and go for the coveted P-rank. Blasting through the game with painstakingly perfect combos is incredibly satisfying when you finally pull it off. The bosses are fun, the Halloween update had great challenges, and I can't wait to see what comes next for this game.

TL;DR: It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun and the word of mouth hype is legit. Pick it up.
