The biggest issue for me in this game is:
The meele still feels spongy compared to bg2.

If you want to play this, join a clan and attend trainings, skirmish and linebattles.
The public games are just 1 aspect of this game.

The community of this game is solid and mostly cancerious.
Another reason why you should join a clan...

The positive apsects of this game are:
You get to follow orders of your commander

The line in a linebattle.
You'r part of this line, the line is a living organism.
Only the fastest and most disciplned soldiers can form the most efficient line.
They line up quickly, they shoot fast volleys, they kill many.
And they move quickly and disappear again.
Volleys are one big bang not a single shot heared out of the rythm.
Soldiers don't crouch, soldiers don't hesitate, soldiers never miss a volley.
No gaps can ever be seen.
They know no fear, they only know if they get shot in the line, it is the highest honor to die for.

Only the weak feel the fear and hide, crouch, strafe, look at the enemy while walking, shooting out of the rythm...
When those cowards die, the line gets stronger, faster, better!
The organizm loses the unhealthy cancerous part and therefore gets more powerful.



Since you read all this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, here is a pro tip:
Crouching makes you a bigger target because there is a bug in the game which increases the hitbox, once you crouch.

When you look at the backpack of a player long enough sometimes a cookie spawns and you will gain some little extra health.
(very useful during linebattles)

Go through cryptic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ once you start this game.
Watch many youtube videos which will tell you basic stuff.
Takes hours until you can do the basic ♥♥♥♥.
But hey, its not a standard simple game and maybe you like that process.

After getting used to it the game is pure grind.
Check out the good trading loops on a website and then fly round trips forever.
Grind 1 week for a decent spaceship.
Totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring, but the money keeps you going.

Finally you have the money and buy a decent ship.
Then try to go to battle with our new ship and realize its either ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring or you have no chance at all.
There are just those 2 options!
EZ win or getting destroyed.

This wouldn't be too bad, but once you die you have to re buy your ship!
The re buy is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ high, you can simply forget about getting the decent spaceship in the first place...

The money you make with "battle" missions is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
If you make 1 mistake and your ship gets destroyed, you lost all your money for the re buy.

Therefore I guess the simple thing is to continue flying boring trading loops again.

Dont get this game, its pure cancer!

I have read the reviews about people getting sweaty.
I thought to myself what a bunch of sissies.
I bought the game and fight the first 3 enemies.
Now I have a major muscle ache and cannot raise my arms anymore.
I guess I have to wait 1 week until I can play again.

I played a lot of rome total war I.
I really liked it.

But this game is just a joke.
Do not buy it!
You will only receive disappointment.

Publisher are greedy basterds.

Even with a lot of mods, which try to fix this mess, I just cannot enjoy this game.

Some of you may ask:
Why not wait?
Why act/buy now?
The answer is simple:
Cause the world cannot wait any longer.

I cannot recommend to buy the game at this point.
Way too much money spend for a game, which seems like it is beta state.

PROS

-graphics, very pretty scenery, towns, villages etc.
-sounds and music I think are nice
-game is creating a nice Atmosphere where you might wanna immerse for many hours
-many quests and stuff you can do
-solve quests in different ways
-If you fail at one point, you might get another change to solve differently
-combat system
-more realistic then other games (not just button mashing, its a little bit more challenging)
-its a more realistic approach on the subject middle age (you might like it or not)
-no magic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
-you need to sleep, eat, take care of your weapons/armor etc.
-side activities are solved with neat mini games (like sharpen your sword or haggle with merchants)
-if you ♥♥♥♥ with the people, they will be mad at you (e.g. wont trade with you anymore)
-the game is taking a slower approach then others (again you might like that or not)

CONS

-Game crashing-
The game is always crashing after I did the quest with the fake coins.
Whenever I try to arrest the bad guy (Jeschek) it will crash to desktop without error message.
I cannot continue to play the main quest.

The game is also crashing from time to time in other quests.


-Bugs-
This game is currently full of bugs, which totally kill the atmosphere for me.
Examples:

NPC´s having trouble finding a path and walking against walls.

NPC´s clipping into objects e.g. fences.
Sometimes NPC´s faces clipping through something while you talk to them.
(e.g. my horses face was within a farmers face)

NPC´s talking to you about an outcome of a quest I did not even start yet.
Therefore the NPC are spoiling the ending of a quest you didn't do yet!

Within a quest a battle happened (I guess it was scripted).
NPC´s often standing around doing nothing.
You can shoot them with bow and arrow and they don't try to fight back.
After a while they run off and de-spawn. You can actually see them disappear!

Many times your allies don't follow you, so you have to fight alone while your "friends" watch you getting killed.
This is especially frustrating when you convince someone to fight with you and you spared his life before.

When you get chased by an enemy into a town, the guards wont help you or even react.
They will just walk pass you and do nothing.

Very often there are NPC´s you cannot talk to.
However you were able to talk to them in the past.

NPC´s sometimes walk around like ghosts not reacting to anything.
I have seen NPC´s walking in a line in the middle of the night in the fields with there sleeping garment on.
(or maybe this is some sort of witchcraft)

NPC´s wont dodge anything.
You can gallop with your horse in the middle of the road straight towards them.
They won't move an inch.
Also if you stand still they will walk into you and complain about your behavior.

NPC´s make poor choices.
I once found a single guy within a camp out in the woods.
He had no armor and only ♥♥♥♥ weapon.
I had full armor weapons etc.
He got angry and attacked me.
Therefore I killed the NPC with 1 hit.

Ghost NPC´s
Sometimes I see people or animals in weird positions.
They don't respond to anything.
Then I realize I can walk right through them.


-Atmosphere killer-
Not only the mentioned bugs are killing the atmosphere,
there are also events where the game seems to be totally empty and sterile.
Example:
A quest where you do a horse race.
No NPC´s are at the start/finish line cheering for you or the other participants.
Only the steward is standing there showing no emotions.

Bushes are your worst enemy.
They are not nodraw! You cannot walk through them, like in any other game I know.
You cannot hide behind bushes, the NPC´s will spot you anyways.
Even your horse has trouble getting through bushes.
When you are in combat you also need to watch out you wont get stuck in a bush.


-Combat killer-
If you fight 2 enemies, 1 enemy will always be selected/in focus.
You can change/switch the focus to the 2nd enemy.
However the game should automatically just focus the enemy, which is closest to you.
But its not doing that.
So whenever you fight 2 enemies you get hit, cause you still figuring out how to select the enemy closest to you.
This is very frustrating and I guess could be fixed so easily.

-Bow and arrow-
You don't have a crosshair!
The idea probably was to make it more "realistic".
You can enable a crosshair with the console.
Without the crosshair bow and arrow are useless.
Sometimes you want to sneek and kill an enemy with bow and arrow.
If you miss one time, they will be alerted and your only chance is gone.

-saving the game-
You cannot just save your progress.
You need to buy expensive Schnaps in order to save.
Or sleep in a/your bed.
This could be fine, however with the crashes it is not!
Also when I have to leave the computer in a hurry, I cannot just simply save my progress.
In worst cases I lose like 30 minutes of progress.
This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, there is no need for something like this.
The player is being punished for the poor developers choice of a saving system.


CONCLUSION
Nice game, but the issues are too many and to severe at this point.
I would recommend to wait until it is on sale.
