Been playing the game since the release of the Early Access over 2 years ago. Has the best battle and PVP mechanics in the monster collecting genre (no RNG <3). Most of the Temtem designs and animations are great.

The majority of the soundtrack is incredible!

There are no "pay to win" mechanics whatsoever. Everything purchasable inside the game is purely cosmetic. However there are valid criticisms to be made about how the current store can create FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out),

Game will only get better once Temtem Showdown is released in a few months. Then there will be pretty much no grind required to play PVP!

This was my review from 11 years ago. I unfortunately can't currently recommend the game to new players. Casual mode has been suffering from a cheating ♥♥♥ crisis for 4 years. Crisis which has been ignored by Valve
