First of all, Counter Strike: Global Offensive is a great game. To put it in a nutshell, it's a tactic based shooter game and it is the reason for all amok running guys. The main community consists of russian kids and german hackers. It is not uncommon to meet (and greet) an aim- or wallhacker ingame. There are also some guys playing this game at the age of 40, beside their sleeping kids and raging teenagers (who are playing CS:GO as well).
If u become a really good player, you can also earn money, by attending tournaments or major events. But if u want to make very much profit, just apply at Valve. They launch very many major patches, which are just good for profit on their side.
There is also a very profitable and perfectly working Ingame Skin System(which is good for Valve as well, because of the taxes at selling skins on the community market). You can buy those on a community market, as I already mentioned and there are many different skins in the world of CS:GO.
There is also a way of trading your ingame items with others in a profitable way. This profit is called overpay, whereas the guy who wants something from the other, needs to give more value because he wants the item. Common overpays are between 8 and 12%.
