From start to finish I honestly enjoyed playing this game, some aspects were truly memorable and stood out for me. Knowing this game had mixed reviews on release and considering how much fun I had playing it I felt compelled to share my experience. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is everything you would expect from a Rocksteady game and more. This full force action adventure will keep you on the edge of your seat and coming back. Accompanied with exhilarating combat, over the top executions, next level cut scenes and graphics, a silly yet exciting story line, tons of weapons and loot, and the list goes on. Buckle up you are in for one hell of a ride.

To begin, the story was well done and kept me hooked throughout its 20 hour or so kill spree. The cut scenes and character animations were next level and felt cinematic, some of the best I have seen in a game thus far. The writing and personalities of the characters felt spot-on and a lot of the time had me laughing while still being compelling. I never wanted to miss or skip a cut scene they were so good. The story is on the darker side with some rated R moments, though it never takes itself too seriously. It really feels awesome and is a unique twist to play as the supervillains to help save the world and kill the justice league.

The all-around game play was frenetic, stylish, destructive, and delightful, a definite highlight of the game. Even though it's a third person shooter a lot of the time you will be getting up close and personal, utilizing melee combos and powerful abilities to vanquish Braniac's hordes of minions. There is an endless number of weapons and loot, and many other ways to customize your character. The game also has a fair number of enemies and even more have been added in. The combat effects are insane, the speed and kill animations with all the colors, glitz, and glam, it's really a pleasure to watch and even more so to play. You can suit up as any of the available Suicide Squad members and each have a distinctive feel and play style. When I thought one character was my favorite, the next I tried soon became my new favorite. Once you level up your squad, they truly feel a force to be reckoned with. The open world in Metropolis is a nice size map you can freely roam with plenty of missions and activities to partake in. The mobility of the different characters are highlighted when traversing through the city and was fun in itself. The world can seem a tad lifeless besides enemies, but based on the plot it feels fitting though still could be improved on.

Once you beat the game there is a seemingly endless amount of content to play and you can upgrade your squad even further. The end-game missions can feel repetitive, but there is still a good variety to choose from. And since you can play with up to four friends it feels like a new playground at your disposal. There are some micro transactions, but they are minimal, unnecessary, and dont interfere with the game in any way. Every season there is new content and a new theme to Metropolis which makes it fun to go back in and play. Since I started the game, the developers seem to have added quite a few updates which is nice to see. I have mentioned this game to quite a few people while playing it letting them know how much I am enjoying it and I feel it has plenty to offer. I highly recommend giving this game a go and getting a group of friends together to maximize the fun.
