Well for starters you cannot play it because a log in queue. Its single player btw. Second, the mouse never appears until you jump through x amount of alt-tab hoops. Lastly, it downloads an exorbitant amount of data to your C drive despite being installed in a different drive.

UPDATE: For what its worth it works now, though it has some bugs and feels like a game instead of a sim. Why must I always have these way-points to fly through? Sure there's a work around to get them off, but if I have them off in the settings I should not have to do anything else. Graphically, and detail wise, it is beautiful. Lastly, despite the claims that it was suppose to support virtually all MSFS payware planes, none of them seem to work.

Great game that is often on sale. I believe I bought this for around $3 USD. At that price point and also at retail it is well worth it. The sound direction is really incredible, combined with the general atmosphere of the world, they account for what I believe are the strongest aspects. At times the game does drag, but overall the story is good enough to complete. It is more of an interactive visual novel, with RPG elements so keep that in mind if your expecting a "proper, proper". All in all I would give this a 7-8/10.

Games sucks. Rip off of a lot of other big games from the time. Combat is insanely unfair. Most of the time its the easiest thing in the world, then randomly you'll face a Mongolian archer with more firepower than the Enola Gay.

Seems like a much worse product than its predecessor. No jam mode. No point.

From what I hear you now need a government issued ID to play the game. Get bent Aldous Huxley. Requested a refund, no luck. Gonna uninstall and tell people I don't like it to the extent that its reminiscent of how often a vegan tells you they're vegan.

I was a huge supporter of this game when it was announced. I joined the kick-starter and eagerly followed the development. As much as I want to love it, its just not that good. I stopped playing after a few hours mainly because the controls/camera is clunky, and the game play feels uninspired. It was a valiant effort and I'm sure the developers saw some returns from it, but I really can't give it my stamp of endorsement.

The game is great but its plagued by a terrible combat system, at least whilst in comparison to Yakuza 0. I would argue that the main story is more enticing, and better paced than 0. The world though, and the side quests feel lacking by comparison, the mini-games are less prevalent and feel significantly more "mini". The side-quests were more of an annoyance than a distraction. I know this is because this is just a remake, but I played 0 first, so it is going to be my litmus test going forward with all Yakuza games. This game is definitely a good time, and worth a buy, just know that for the first ~83% of the game, the combat is downright frustrating. Even after you have unlocked some key abilities the camera and collision while in battle always seem to be working against you. Once you have fleshed out your ability tree, it gets to the point where you do a combo series in one skill tree and then switch to another for a heat move that can be activated at a distance. So there is really no time in the game where combat feels good. Either its frustratingly difficult or its trivial. Without the story, and world crafting, rating on game-play alone I would rate this a 6/10. The story and world however carry it up to 8/10, and make it well worth your time. A note about time, I could have finished the game significantly earlier but I spent time completing the Majima quest-lines as I found them and the abilities they unlock to be rewarding.
