Graphics: The most colorful ubi game I've ever seen. It's actually a pleasure to look at, and the cartoony style doesn't hurt it a bit.
Sound : Voice acting is excellent. The music fits perfectly and the sound effects are dynamic.
Story : It's a different take on a familiar theme, but really , the narration and the exploration are what make this such a pleasure to play. Plus the fact , that it doesn't take itself too seriously.

I swore I was done with Bioware and EA, but this is too good to pass up.

Bottom line:
Probably the most charming game I've ever played.
Experiencing this for the first time, is one of the biggest gaming treats I've had in years.
The art style is beautiful. The music is perfect, and really sets the mood for the fantastic story and characters.

One of the best ARPGs I've played in a long time.
A long story driven campaign, that really, I'm just scratching the surface of. A massive amount of choices in character class, weapons, and skills. The combat is well done and the world is large and fun to explore.
The down side? Sometimes it feels like there's almost too much loot, and the difficulty spikes can take you by surprise. Other than that , every thing else is done better than most in this genre.
All in all - 9/10

This has always been one of the best games of it's kind. With a massive map to explore, tons of quests to go on, and hack and slash combat , it definitely set a high bar.
With the new additions, improvements and expansion, after all these years, it's even better than it was originally.
It's nice to see this old chestnut hasn't been forgotten.
Just started playing this again, and have to add , that with 4k and new characters, I quickly remembered why I love this game so much.

The Witcher 3 comes the closest to being everything my friends and I used to hope that RPGs would one day be.
It's massive and beautiful
The world is filled with life
Characters are fleshed out
NPCs have interesting stories in their own right
The combat is fantastic, and . . . choices matter.
It's the choices matter part that seperates it from most other open world RPGs.
If you haven't played it , you should try it . The atmosphere alone is worth the price of admission.

One of the best RPGs in the Steam catalog.

That's no overstatement. They threw in a massisve amount of content, in a giant open world setting. The difficulty level can be unforgiving, but once the nuances of combat are learned, the game is a joy to play. Everything works just the way it should and the OST fits it like a glove.

Highly recommended.
