After 11 years of waiting, finally, we've been blessed by Itsuno-san and Matt Walker from Capcom. A true sequel to the Devil May Cry series. It may not be on the same level as DMC3 but it delivers alright and is improvement from DMC4 in every aspect. My GOTY of 2019.

So, what's to love about this game?

- Featuring Dante from Devil May Cry series
He's back and still got it, I mean we all know and love him and he's the reason you should play this game alone.

- This party is getting crazy, let's rock!
This game is a father of hack n slash genre and I don't know any game in that genre that comes even close to Devil May Cry in terms of gameplay. This game got literally unlimited possibilities of combos and moves you can pull off, there's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many fun, cool, unbelievable and totally absurd things you can manage to do that you can just loose your mind here. Want to have a prosthetic rocket-arm like one that Snake got? We've got you covered, also you can jump on it and fly on your own while blasting some demon ass. Want to rip and tear demons while riding a demonic motorcycle that can transform into 2 chainsaws? Only in Devil May Cry.
There's no skill ceiling, you always improve and it's always fun to kick someones ass in a different way. This game wants you to have all the fun you can imagine and it does it's job very good, it's just always amazing to dominate and humiliate everything you see on your path.
You've got 3 characters - Deadw- kkhm Nero, V and Dante. Each character got his own style, with V being a new character with a new gameplay style added to the DMC5.

- The Legendary Deadweight
Story is not the strongest aspect of this game, it's pretty much what you would expect from this game, especially if you played DMC before and it's something that could be described in a few words. It still got the same good old humour, amazing cutscenes between missions, absurd moments and return of our beloved characters.

- I'm absolutely crazy about it!
Devil May Cry 5, like other games in the series, got 6 gamemodes, each got something different to offer, like throwing at you more and stronger enemies, enemies with new abilities, or you just die in 1 hit etc. And it also features Bloody Palace where you face waves after waves of enemies. it also got plenty of unlockables after completing game on each difficulty. But the real replay value is the gameplay on its own, there's always a place for you to improve and do some absolutely crazy moves and I always find myself coming back to this game for some action.

- Smokin' Sexy Style!
There's nothing you can say about graphics, RE engine shows an unbelievably beautiful picture with smooth frames even when there's a complete cluster♥♥♥♥ going on on your screen. Amazing attention to details and great animations.

- BANG BANG BANG PULL MY DEVIL TRIGGER!
And of course there's soundtrack. God the soundtrack. DMC series always had one of the best soundtracks, but now they're taking it to the next level with a new Dynamic Soundtrack mechanic that makes music more active the better you perform and slows it down if you just suck.

What not to love?

The real complain here is level design. Well, it's not bad, it's actually pretty good, but it can get a bit repetitive on the second half of the game. Still, it's far better than making half game and then recycle it for another half, I'm looking at you DMC4.
I'm also sad that they didn't make any alternate costumes for characters, but there's nothing mods can't fix I guess.
