While the main-line plot is rather short. It was an enjoyable game. I just wish the main-plot was longer. Sure, there are lots of side missions. But after I watched the credits, I just feel like I don't want to go back in again. But, that is just me.

I was just too lost with the sandbox.

I know it is a 360 era game. And I understand that comes with some jank. But.....I feel there is just too much. I am just not having fun.

I was just not having fun playing this game. It felt more pretentious than it should have been, and also the combat was not great. I had to resort to just using my feet or just my hands to get the combos to work consistently. And only doing right click for a few moments at a go is not super fun. I did not get to the end. I gave up a good chunk into the game.

I did not find this as scary as the origional game. I found this one more confusing than scary. Sometimes I got confused by the puzzles. Maybe I am just stupid. But I felt like they were a bit more out there. The plot was also confusing to me. In dark descent, I felt that you knew who the 'bad guy' was from the start. And, the issue with the child? I thought some people might feel that is a bit too much to take. I know it is a horror game. But the first child, I thought going that path was a bit much. I also did not like the match mechanic. If you move too much, you lose your match? I thought that just added another level of frustration to the light mechanic. And the lantern did not seem to last as long as I felt it did in the past.

In the end, I just did not like this game as much as dark descent. Better than 'a machine for pigs', but that game was rather poor. Play soma instead. That game was scarry, intense, and better than this one, I thought.

Not a bad game, but I just could not super get into it. I found the jumping back and forth a bit much to keep track of, and your shooting can run out of energy. I just could not get super into it. I see what they were trying to go for, but I just was not having fun on the steam deck.

Why doesn't it support steam cloud? Not a big fan. I can see why others would like it. But, I just can't super get into it.

I played it for almost 30 minutes. And that was enough for me.

I just can't get into the controls. I tried playing it on the steam deck, and I just could not get it to behave in a way I wanted. It seemed to be stuck on 'tank controls, but for aiming', and I just could not get into it.

I get that the creator is trying to do the Stanley parable thing. I get that. I like that game. But, here is the idea. Don't make me keep launching the game to continue to playing the game. That is very annoying. Also, the Stanley parable had a better narrator, which made it better. I understand it is hard to make a game, and it is even harder to make a funny game. The medium is just not that great at it. And everybody has a different sense of funny. But, for me, personally, I did not find this game that fun or charming as the Stanley Parable.
