After finishing the game at 100%, and a huge fan of the Devil May Cry series. I can say it is one of the best DMC out there, if not the best, personally, I would say 3 and 5 are both the best. It has a well deserved spot with the best games of 2019. If you are a DMC fan and haven't played this one, go and play it, it is a love letter to the Devil May Cry series.

- Gameplay
The first thing you'll seek in a DMC, is its gameplay, and it is amazing in this one. Every character has its own unique playstyle, Nero can use his well known Red Queen and Blue Rose, his devil breakers and something else after finishing the story; Dante has the classic Rebellion and Ebony & Ivory, his style change, and new devil arms at his disposal, including a freaking motorcycle; and finally, the new character, V, has familiars at his disposal, they are a throwback to the first game, being Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare, all of those being bosses in the first DMC, now you've got them as your allies. The gameplay with all 3 characters is smooth, your creativity will be challenged when you are trying new combos to get that sweet SSS, the camera is great, it can do weird things rarely, but nothing that should bother you; there are plenty of difficulties to choose, do you want a challenge? Play in Dante Must Die, the enemies are though, but the feeling you get after getting an S at the mission you were stuck, is better. And finally, the boss fights are awesome, there will be some of them that you will be trying again and again to make better combos and getting a clean and stylish fight.

- Story
Devil May Cry is well known for its plot holes, this one is not an exception, but still it is a pretty good story, not as good as the story from DMC3, but it is better than the rest, it answers some questions the fans have been asking for years, and develops Nero to a level in which his character can hold a DMC game without Dante. The story may not be long or deep, but it will make some tense moments, can be unpredictable at times, will make you laugh sometimes and it will get you hyped. If you are a fan of the DMC saga, you may already know some things you'll see, and if you haven't played any DMC before, don't worry, there is a video in the menu that summarizes the story in chronological order.

- Graphics
RE Engine is one of the best, if not the best game engine right now, if you've played Resident Evil 7, 2 Remake or 3 Remake, you can expect the same level of detail in DMC5. The characters and their clothes were made rendering scans from real models and real clothes, so that you will see perfectly natural movements and a high level of detail in everything. But the best part is that you don't need a monster PC to play it, the system requirements are pretty friendly and the game is greatly optimized, so, don't worry if your PC is not the best, you may not see the graphics at their full potential, but you will have a smooth gameplay.

- Music
Devil May Cry 5 was nominated for 2019's best videogame music, and it is well deserved, you may be adding the soundtrack to your Spotify playlists. The boss themes are epic, at the moment I'm writing this, I'm listening to Voltaic Black Knight (Cavaliere Angelo theme) and I've got Urizen themes next. Fighting bosses with this music will get you hyped, but going through normal fights is great too, you will get pumped with Devil Trigger, Subhuman, Crimson Cloud, and the ranking system, in which the better your combos are, the louder the music gets, which will make you go for the best combo. Plus, if you buy the deluxe edition, you can play using classic themes, such as Devils Never Cry, Shall Never Surrender, Ultraviolet and some more.

Overall, DMC5 is one of the best action games ever made, if you enjoy playing a good hack n' slash or you are looking for a challenge, this game is a must buy, you can finish the story mode in 10 hours or less, but what's the fun in playing only once? After you finish your first run, you will unlock a new difficulty and new things for Nero, so, don't stop there, get better until you are able to beat every enemy in Dante Must Die with ease.
