Definately worth it to play all over again in VR, enjoyed every minute of it until my feet got too sore to continue (hehe)

My only complaint is that you cant change the view snapping to be smooth (increments of 30 degrees minimum)

But otherwise its brilliant :D

Voting Down for Half Life 2 - Episode 3!!

Edit: After countless updates and waiting paitently i can safely say the devs have not let the community down! have been playing for a while now (with the newly added mouse features a godsend) and have not had a problem

Original: As a lot of previous reviews have mentioned, this was clearly developed for consoles... it shows with the right-click pie menu.. but dont get me wrong i can put up with a few gameplay changes, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the developers have left out a TON of features from the previous iteration of CMS.. namely gameplay controls (mouse acceleration / look inversion etc) as well as advanced graphical settings

While these are just my main concerns, the game is also riddled with bugs! (have you ever put a wheel on a car with the lug nuts being screwed in reverse??!) so currently i cant recommend the game until the dev's put some work into fixing the PC version - will change my review in future if they fix it up

Updated Review: Fun to play Cash Grab?

Since my original review many years ago the game has undergone a lot of changes, my most appreciative being the ability to play the game in Direct X 10 mode (lowering the graphic quality to improve gameplay)

This still doesn't mean that the game isn't horribly optimised, cause it still is... its just nice to be able to play the game without constant crashing or FPS Lag etc

As for the game itself, having Mod support is great, allows for a huge variety in how you choose to play the game, coupled with public & private server hosting this is a great feature to have in any game

my main gripe with the game at the moment is the constant release of DLC packs that cost an arm and a leg, i could understand if each dlc was under $5 but as of this writing every pack retails for $30 AUD, for a total of $90 AUD for all 3 packs... get stuffed... the original game retails for $70 AUD...

Anyway, if you get the base game and download a bunch of mods you'll have a great time, some of the mods even allow you to use DLC content without owning them (go figure?)

now dont get me wrong, its fun to play.. when it plays..

the other 98% of the time i've spent trying to reinstall graphic drivers, or lower graphic settings to stop the game from crashing.. or lagging when i so much as cough at the medium settings..

I have a GTX 680 which will play the game comfortably on medium yet the game still decides to crash randomly
... How about instead of adding another dinosaur to the game for the upteenth time try fixing some of the bugs... *sigh*

But then the team has the audacity to release a PAID DLC while the game is still in production..

As it stands now i CANNOT recommend this game.. until they fix some of the issues

Finally got around to playing this game again after a long time (used to play it before it was called infestation) and suddenly when i go to launch the game... its telling me im BANNED... What the F^%$ did i even do to get this ban?.. ill never know..

Absolutely Epic!! and only in Pre-Alpha!!

This game ♥♥♥♥♥ all over its predecessor already, the gameplay is extremely balanced, the combat is much faster and more precise, there arent many tower variations, which makes it easier to be specific about where to place them.

Very good work so far! - looking forward to future updates!
