Jumping on the bandwagon because i also highly disagree with the addition of EAC

Purely for the removal of Modding Support!

A game built on the creations of its community.....
And the Devs suddenly taking (most of) that ability away are braindead and deserve all the negativity

I understand that they needed a way to prevent the avatar cloning and client crashing, but this was NOT the way to go about it...

Single Player Anti-Cheating?? DENUVO??

As others have previously stated....

Why does a single player game need anti-cheat?
Why does a free game need anti-piracy software?

I even supported the developers of the game and bought a few packs but F**k me i guess...

So i expressed two main issues with the demo version of the game, and they have addressed one of them, which made me really happy!
(This issue being you can now access the settings from WITHIN the game rather then having to return to the main menu to change anything)

The second issue being quick keyboard controls to change modes (Mount / Unmount / Inspect) through keybinds / its is still a no-show but its not a deal breaker in this instance

There are a LOT of new features included, the biggest highlight the devs were pushing is the minigames for scrapping / balancing etc - and in the latter case, the minigame SIGNIFICANTLY speeds up the wheel balancing process if you do it fast enough! (so big plus here!)

Haven't yet gotten deep enough into the game to talk about the auction / barn finds / upgrade features but if what I've played so far is anything to go on, they've done alright with 2021

Can't say i'm a huge fan of the DLC barrage all over again.. but i'm not likely to buy any that i'm not interested in so no big loss there...

Seems to me the Devs have simply taken CMS 2018 and added a VR interface to it with the bare minimum required to get it working correctly, it still has the annoying selection wheel for "almost" everything (which does work better in vr) but would've been far better to come up with an actual VR method of doing things [like driving the cars into the lift positions..]

My BIGGEST gripe is once again the lack of control/options - this is the same issue i had with 2018 when it released without mouse inversion support!!
There are NONE (that i could find) of the usual VR control options that almost every VR title has these days, such as Smooth Rotation speed, Movement speed, Vignette... etc etc

I held off purchasing the game for over a month so the devs could update and fix tings but In its current state, can't recommend the game!

So this is basically Factorio Meets Satisfactory Meets Space Engineers... and its AWESOME

I'm so disappointed that the game doesn't have any form of multiplayer/coop yet, but here's hoping that's coming in future!

But for those who don't want or care about multiplayer this is a great space-age factory builder! :D

Update 1.1 Fixes the main issue with the game, smooth rotation! valve listens to its players and we are so thankful for it!!

Brilliant, Talk about a comeback from the dead!

Now that's not to say the game isn't without its issues - sure to be fixed in the coming days i'm sure
(Unable to smoothly rotate, Left handed weapons, No Sprinting, etc etc)

But issues aside the game looks gorgeous, plays brilliantly, love the new game mechanics and cant get enough of it!
Congratulations Valve, you've created another legend!

A few Teething issues being one of the first AAA VR Experiences, but god its incredible how much work has gone into the game and is easily one of the best VR Titles available at the moment!

The Developers are working out the kinks quite quickly so i highly recommend this to anyone who wants the most premium VR Experience possible!

Cant say i ever really got into reach on the 360, loved every other halo before it!

That all changed with the release on the PC... because it meant i didn't need to use the ungodly controllers anymore!!

Such a great game and cant wait for the rest of the collection! Highly Recommended to anyone who hasn't yet felt the joy of playing a HALO title!

If you've got the hardware to play it (any HMD works at this point) this is a must-play!
its even better if you modify the game with custom songs

The requirements arent as harsh as i first thought and you can even turn off a lot of the graphical settings from within the game for a smoother experience!
