The game is fun! That is undeniably true, and after the community has let their feelings be known about the direction Team17 was taking with HLL it seems they are course-correcting (read Dev Brief #191). I am cautiously hopeful, but hopeful nonetheless that Team17 makes things right with the community and makes the improvements we are hoping for.

I would absolutely recommend the game (at a discount - full price still seems too steep given its current state); however, buyer beware... this game is about COMMUNICATION and TEAMWORK. This is not a run and gun. You will not survive on your own.

If you're the kind of FPS player that values realistic warfare... Buy this f***ing game, right now.. Buy yourself a copy and then buy all your friends a copy, then tell them to buy all of their friends a copy. You will see people nitpick on little glitches and bugs, but keep in mind.. this game is relatively new; however, the devlopers are vigilant in ensuring us this game keeps getting better and better. So.. let me make this clear... Insurgency is the FPS we deserve, and most definitely the one we need right now. 10/10
