Left a far longer review here that goes way over the character limit:

TL:DR, The game is undeniably good, conceptually speaking. I want to like it. And I do! I play it regardless of the issues. However I cannot seriously recommend it in its current form and I say that because I like the game too much to just say "it's good enough" and leave it at that. I've been hooked on the series for a little while now, and out of my own passion for what I think is best for the game, I have to leave a negative score. These issues need addressing.

The execution just leaves much to be desired. This plays closer to the original series than it does community modpacks. If you're coming from Anomaly or GAMMA, don't expect a lot of tactical realism here. With some elbow grease through nexus community patches, fiddling with NVIDIA control panel, and whatever other tune-ups you can think of, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will mostly run fine assuming you have a decent setup, I'm talking at least a series 30 RTX card for something halfway stable. The game in its current form will always micro-stutter, and major settlements with lots of NPC activity will lag your game. A-Life is broken, enemy spawns are broken, immersion doesn't work the same way it did in the original games, and the balancing could use some work.

All in all, if you care about that authentic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience, but want something sleek and smooth like Zone Reclamation Project did for SoC, you're going to have to wait until GSC (or the community) rolls out some patches for the performance issues, immersion-breaking bugs, and ideally rebalancing. This game is a diamond, but a very rough one at that.

I used to play TF2 very religiously, it would be all I would play years ago, but as the updates rolled out, balancing weapons to shadows of their former selves just to appease a competitive scene that is dead now, the jump to casual servers away from the original quickplay, and now of course, the infamous bot crisis that plagues their "replacement", this game is no longer playable outside of community servers that likely spend so much of their time and money to keep them afloat.

Although I am of the opinion that TF2 is a far more broken game than just the bots, given my stance on weapon balancing, it's really nothing compared to the sheer neglect from Valve ASIDE from the shop they keep pumping out cosmetics for. That said, do I expect Valve to actually fix the bots? Can't say for sure, mainly because it is an ongoing war; cheaters will find new ways to cheat, devs will find new ways to try and patch that out. At a certain point, it is unsustainable, and maybe Valve just wants to move on.

The lack of communication is what irks me. Not the fact that TF2 is no longer a focus from Valve; it's almost a 20 year old game now, I seriously do not expect Valve to keep working with the sheer amount of what's probably spaghetti code that's accrued into the game over the years. But I would like them to say SOMETHING, at least.

There has never been such a glimmer of hope in the gaming industry just for it to be crushed once again, like always. One day we'll have *the* game, but this isn't it, as much as it could have been.

Also, game was better on launch version, the move away from an arcade style towards ball-crushing difficulty for no good reason was already killing things to begin with anyway. If there's any saving this game, buff everything and make my guns actually feel like they do something.

Until then, not removing my review until they completely fix the access from other countries, and ideally the weapons aren't pea shooters.
