Pavlov is a must-have VR game, whether you're into competitive shooters or not. Personally I suck at this game so I just play bot matches or 1v1 with my friend on custom maps (like the Gulag from Warzone) and oh boy is it fun!

The gun mechanics aren't as good as something like Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Hand grenades, but it gets the job done and isn't bad like some other games I've played.

I used a vive before I got my index and can confirm they both work well but I like the index a lot.
