DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I have put ~25 hours into it with a lot of BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT and it started crashing non stop, having only max 30 mins of gameplay between each crash. I can not progress any more, even if I wanted to.

The game in general is bad. A downgrade from DL1 in MANY aspects. Reeks of generic AAA smell. Avoid it, please.

I have ~100 hours in DL1 and its one of my most beloved games ever. It's not good, but it's miles better than this pile of a nothingburger.

The art direction is beautiful.
The level design is phenomenal.
The soundtrack puts you in the mood.
The exploration feels superb, the visual aids are often clever.
The world feels like you are just a tiny portion of everything going on.
This is one of the greatest Half-Life 2 mods ever made!
