I was curious about the game at first, I wanted to see what all that fuss is about. Luckily steam reviews are yet again deceived me to see this souless grinding game. Visually it's a mess up, you can barely see your character in the game with all that particules and visual gibberish. Gameplay wise, it's constant grind. You can't take a break to explore the game instead of you have to grind to "enjoy the game". There is some weird gamer fetish about "hard game is being good". And I see bunch of "hard games" hiding behing that stupid fetish to be a "good game".

If you wanna see that with your eyes, suit yourself but I suggest not passing 2 hours so you can refund the game. You might see everything in the game in 2 hours and plus with some youtube video.

It's really fun and polished, I wasn't expecting such a good work from a "simulator" game. There is so much detail and I learned so much from the game. There are however some major issues like gameplay mechanics.

Biggest problem imo is that you don't have any interaction with your car. After hours of working on a car, you really can't do much with it besides just looking at it. There is no racing, there is no showing, no competing, there are no npcs, it just sits in your garage until you decide to sell.

Also tuning is actually not "tuning", it is more like "buying expensive tuned parts instead of stock parts". So you don't actually adjust anything. For example I should be able to adjust fuel and air mixture right, that is the tuning.

Many things are summed up by just pushing a button. You want to clean your car, push the button; you want to fix your
chassis, push the button; you want to fix a part, push the button just in time etc.
So many missed opportunities to increase interaction with the car.

Overall, it deserves it's money but needs some major update to be a really good game.

Idea is nice and game offers quite sometime to enjoy. It's a gas station simulator indeed.

However there is not enough content, game requires a continuous grind and UX is absolute joke. So doing the samething over and over again in a most unintuitive way gets boring really fast. Also non-stop crashes makes the game unplayable, because you lose your progress too much. This game nowhere near to be in a released state, it should still be in early access.

I highly recommend waiting 1 or 2 years and decide on that later.

This updates changes the whole meta so I wouldn't suggest trusting reviews early on. As you can see, game it's hard to master and takes time to learn new gameplay mechanics.
My main concerns are;
- It's just too much at this point, I can not overlook everything, there has to be a major UI/UX update, everything is just small and tedious to control. The buttons are small, the details are small, there are small buttons everywhere.
- It's an old game and you can see that game is starting to get overweight, it becomes unplayable after 1944 and every game becomes a deadlock. You need a serious pc to run the game at 5 speed.
- We just need new late technologies at this point because game can be go as late 1960 to do world conquest for achievements and focuses. And fighting with 1945 technology is just absurd.

I can understand people are enjoying this game with all those challanges and hardcore gameplay, but there is a major problem in this game and I'm sure you guys going to agree with me. This game is not player friendly. From control to mechanics, from UI to difficulty scale, this game doesn't help new players and their journey in the game.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want this game to hold my hand while I explore, but there must be a difficulty scale for new players. How I'm suppose to enjoy the game together with my friends if every step we take is nothing but a problem and agony, how I'm suppose to persuade my friend this game is something we can enjoy together. After all days hard work, I want me and my friend to enjoy sometime together in a game like the games name, but everything in this game is nothing but a cancerous gameplay problems and extremly punishing mechanics to stop you learning, enjoying and warming into the game.

I can however recommend this game for players who likes extreme challanges and see games as a problem to overcome rather then enjoying the time spend. BUT If you are guy like me who have newbie friends and looking good time to enjoy with them, I can sadly can not recommend this game.

This game is truly the game of gods. Hard to learn, almost impossible to master (unless you are a ginger). I played 600 hours and I'm still too scared to play in iron mode and in multiplayer.

But as a newbie I can give you this one important tip;
let AI smash you to pieces every time, let your country got invaded thousands of times, let hours of your work go to waste for a single mistake, let millions of manpower and equipment be wasted for a single piece of land. Try again, try harder. Because when you achieve your goal, that dopamine will hit you hard like nothing.

PS: Do not buy the main game alone, don't forget to buy the Expansion DLC's as well, because game is not complete without them.

So to talk about the game, first we gotta hand it to game the good parts they did. When you start to play the game it feels very immersive, have a beautiful atmosphere, very detailed mechanics etc. Everything feels nice and polished, you feel the urge to explore more, do new things and get the know the game. There is a story or the exploration gamemodes ofc. So you can do whatever you want and play however you want. That is the dream right?

BUT, here is the problem. Game designed to be on a illogical dynamics to keep you in a constant grinding so you have to play for long hours. Game offers you very feeble content and you start to face it after many hours of grinding. The things that you have found in first few hours are the %95 of the content. After 10 hours you ask yourself "What the hell am I doing?" and there is nothing to answer this. The magic of those few hours suddenly vanishes into thin air and leave you a this bland visual grinding. Every story you have is basically "I'm damaged need something to fix it moment". Ofc when this happens first time, you have the adrenaline rush, and maybe the second time and the third time. But after that you start to feel little bit tiring. But it doesn't stop there same thing happens more and more and more and more up to a point you feel this is it, this is the game. Game just a dark sinkhole with nothing to really do.

You literally play games to clear your mind from the real life's constant grinding and the game expects you to the same thing with a feeble content. Remember FarCry 3 quote about the madness? This is the game version of it.

You might get cancer if you don't know the way to play. Learning curve is quite punishing. That is why I suggest you to watch some youtube videos before playing tens of hours.

Story takes about 1-2 hours to finish, I gave a try the endless mode, played 2 season, everything was maxed out. Game actually offers hundreds of hours with it's replayable gameplay mechanics. But idk after 20 hours I got bored but definitely would play couple months later because of the devs.

Apperantly they are keep updating the game which is for 2 years old game it is incredible.

For devs I would suggest making some big dlcs to get more money and develop more contect for the game.

For possibe buyers, game offers unique gameplay, definitely deserves your money. But again, after you solved the trick and played 20 hours, it feels repetitive, don't expect 100 hours.

Game goes on sale quite much. And since it's a triple A game with LOTR theme. Like everyone I was tempted to buy the game.
I could have writed long reviews and details about the gameplay but I don't have much to say besides telling you this. How many times you can do same sh*t over and over again... Just think for a sec.
