I finished the main quest in 12 hours. The story is good, but bland compared to its predecessor. All the mechanics and the gameplay is still remain the same, with some improvement here and there that the original lack of. The combat feel stiff and clunky compared to Bioshock.
Is it better than Bioshock? No. Is it recommended to play? Yes.

It is a fun game, the gameplay is simple, yet it is very rewarding, and addicting. For every game you play, there is so many possibilities, and guaranteed that it would be different from your previous game. As i said earlier, the game is fairly simple, you start with some card in your hand, you could decide to defend or attack, every card has attack or defend point, and each card also require energy to play, so every turn you can only play limited number of cards. So everytime you defeat a monster/enemy, you would get new card to choose to add to your own deck, that's where the stategic aspect of this game come from, you need to build your deck of card that matches or synergize with each other. The more you understand the game, you could pull up crazy ♥♥♥♥ like infinite combo of card, infinite defences, or one hit character. This review is oversimplified, there is so many aspects and mechanics that i could not cover, because i would spoil it for you.
In summary, this game is fun, addicting, simple, and has infinite replay value, buy buy buy, you would not regret it.

This game is neither good nor bad, not worth it if you buy it at full price.
To start with it, the world is huge, but it feels empty, making travel between area while doing quest so boring, fast travel is meh, because you need to synchronize your view ( like any other ac games ), and there is so many building/landmark to synchronize that you felt bored doing it.
The main quest is intriguing and interesting for me, you could meet famous people on history, like herodotus, pericles, socrates, and many other people. But, the side quest is suck and boring, it feels repetitive.
The game is not very well optimized and polished, you could get annoying bugs while playing, like your character glitching through the ground, or your horses glitching through the ground, your enemy standing still, you could say it is a minor bug, but it definitely ruin your mood, and there is a specific bug that annoys me the most, while fighting mercenaries on a city/town, the whole population of city/town ( guards, villager ) would gang up on you, you would often find yourself fighting like 20 people at the same time.
To sum it up, this game is like any other ubisoft game, it is grindy, buggy, and empty.

underrated game

I completed this game on 17 hours, now the easiest analogy is to say this is just a GTA on a lower budget. There is a few things that really bothered me :
- While on mission, especially chasing enemies on car, you CAN'T do anything to pedestrian or the city, you drive through a bench on side of the streets? your points reduced, you hit some stupid lamps? points reduced, you hit pedestrian? points reduced. For me it is so stupid, it feels like your freedom get taken away.
- You're playing as an undercover cop, who really smart, strong, but for whatever reason, on every side mission i've done, you'll always robbed by some random person.
- The control is sloppy, you need to get used to it.

Otherwise, it is a good game, solid story. I'll give it 7.5/10

When i play it for the first time, i dont expect an amazing experience. But after putting 2-3 hours into it, it really is, an amazing experience.
It released 9 years ago, surely you wont expect a breathtaking graphic, or a real phyics in the game. 2 things that make this game great is the story and the RPG mechanic. Truly a timeless classic, really worth your time and your money, buy it!

I have been playing since 2016, i still loved it, and it never gets old.

It is a great game, despite the clunky and buggy game, yes it is buggy, but the game itself is still playable and enjoyable .
It has a lot of replay value, in every game you can be anyone, a honest farmer, a criminal syndicate, a hardworking blacksmith, and even a mayor.
Not hard to learn, tutorial is not an easy thing to found, there is only a couple good tutorial on youtube.
It is cheap and good, buy it.

Everything is good, if you okay with outdated graphic, clunky control, frustating combat, get this game .
