It's a game, and I play it. . . it's fun.

Not worth it. They took the life out of this game when they ended mod support. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE ACTIONS AND DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

Quick and to the point review - if you have no life and want to sacrifice sleep for a game. . . . start this game. 10/10, would not sleep again.

I played for just shy of two hours and in this time I visited two planets, repaired my ship, upgraded my multitool, farmed a ton of crap and got a couple upgrades through trade all while pumping elements into my suit to keep me alive. This cycle keeps repeating itself and for me got boring before two hours was over. It was at first pretty to look at, but gets rather old quickly in my opinion. The creatures are fun to scan and feed but have horrible AI programming and will often just start running into a mounting or clipping through things which leaves a very detached and cheap feel to their otherwise unique presence. The game did however run fine for me on a 6700K with 980ti once I cranked up all graphic settings and unlocked the fps cap I was getting about 70-80 fps @ 1440p. I will probably revisit this world when it goes on sale for around $30, but for right now it just feels like something is missing at that $60 price point. It feels even less involved than minecraft and much less involved and intriguging than say Elite Dangerous, which I feel is it's direct competitior for half the cost. This game might be great for some, but isn't for me. Just my two cents!
