Great pacing and tight gunplay. Very team oriented and the entire game can turn in a second.

Could be one of the best competitive shooters out there if they keep this up.

I have never been one for rouge-like-lite(whatever else it can be) games. My only previous experience playing them was a few short attempts at The Binding of Isaac and a game called Noita.

Much like everyone else praising this game I haven't been able to stop thinking about/playing this masterpiece. The combat, story, music, world building...literally everything that makes up a game is ironed out to a level of perfection most developers couldn't even dream of achieving and this was done by a 20 person studio across just three years of early access development. Supergiant have outdone themselves and I'll be playing this one for many years to come. 10/10 Best birthday present ever. Cheers Warden.

This is without a doubt the best possible outcome for fans of Half Life waiting for what was promised.

VR really is the next step for gaming and HL:A proves that with time and extremely hard work you can make a AAA tittle in VR.

Others have sung this games praises better than I ever could so I will simply say as a die hard Half Life fanatic that this was certainly worth the wait.

*update*

I'm still making my way through this game and it keeps getting better.

Chapter 7 (don't look it up, it's major spoilers) is the best segment of a videogame I have ever experienced. The pacing, humour and horror all come together to make it a truly unique and memorable experience.

Feel like it's time to update this review.

After completing the game on Hard at 100% I have to say that this game is one of the best platforming experiences you'll ever play.

With the sequel about to drop I'd highly recommend playing this one through before picking up Will of The Wisps.

This game to me is a great experience.
I read a few of the Judge Dredd comic series and it actually includes the Dark Judges.
I find them to be a very important part of the Judge Dredd universe as they're so unique and just as badass as Dredd himself.

I'd recomend this game to any fans of the comic or even fans of the newer movie.
Learn the roots of what inspired the newer style of Dredd.

Those golden shoulder pads man. Mint.
