Early impressions are very positive! It feels like the classic mmo experience I remember having many years ago. I've tried two different classes in the very early game and they already feel very different! Excited to see where this goes but am hopeful for the future of this game.

The current situation with the Godot Foundation is extremely saddening... I have spent thousands of hours in this software, always working to improve what I do. But I cannot recommend associating with the Godot Foundation currently.

AA:U has become my go-to game. I always wanted to get into Archeage, but it's P2W was out of control and this is coming from a BDO launch player with over 6,000 hours.

The gameplay is enjoyable, combat is fluid once you get a few skills, and the economy system has me really excited to get into it. On the note of the economy, I realize that there was a bug at launch where people claimed it ruined the market. I have honestly not seen how the market was affected in any substantial way, and I feel as though it will have no real impact on the game over the course of even just these first few months. Some people may have gotten a head start, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to catch up.

Yes, it was a rough launch, but every game that comes out has a rough launch. I'd much rather have a good game with a rough launch then a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game with a great launch, and of course a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch. It seems like the devs are listening to community feedback as much as they possibly can and implementing fixes pretty much on the spot which is why some servers can go down in an instant when a problem is found. This is a good thing and people complaining about it need to think twice about their opinion, as they're probably the same people complaining about bugs in the first place. Either complain about bugs, or complain about random down times. These random down times are to fix major issues that are being found and being upset about both is counter-intuitive and hypocritical.

Absolutly ♥♥♥♥ developers. There does not exist a word to describe how garbage these devs are to their consumers. ♥♥♥♥ Studio Wildcard and every single 'game' they put out.

This game is really refreshing from the usual ideas that come out today. The artwork is beautiful!! One of the better games of 2013.
