Absolutely oozing with style. It wears its inspirations on its sleeve but manages to do something unique and engrossing. Great co-op fun at a generous price.

Can't say I recommend this one. The game has a great artstyle, but the gameplay itself is quite simplistic. I gave it a few hours and it hasn't really drawn me back in.

Gotta say, the lack of English or Japanese dubs also hurts the game. The Chinese dub is just not very nice to listen to, but that is more personal preference.

A wonderful combination of roleplay and strategy. Buying into this game is buying into 20 years of iteration on a fantastic franchise. The amount of customisation and replayability is staggering. Battles are something to behold, as hundreds of individual units ranging from giants to imps collide. Every single unit is tracked in battle down to their limbs. Injuries and experience persist between battles.

The depth of the magic system is also incredible. From ritual spells to communions and sabbaths, there is a high skill ceiling. Dominions 6 rewards roleplay and strategy, and scratches that Age of Mythology/Deus itch like no other game. There is also an incredibly passionate community that plays long form multiplayer games. I would place Dominions squarely in the genre of competitive 4x games with a central focus on warfare. Depending on how large the map is, games generally don't last too long.

There are however downsides that you should consider before buying. Price is one factor. Second, the game is butt ugly. (With the notable exception of unit sprites. Units and battles look awesome, and there is such an insane variety of units.) The UI is terrible, like really bad. Most of the quality of life features are hidden behind hotkeys. Learn them well. Also, there is no tutorial, just a poorly organised manual. Finally, the micro for large empires combined with the atrocious UI can really get tiring.

I would say the barrier to entry isn't actually that high, once you understand the fundamental mechanics of the game it becomes straightforward. But, there is a considerable lack of tutorials or even community guides. You can rely on Dominions 5 guides to some extent since the games are similar. Also, Microsoft's Copilot AI has been instrumental accurately answering all of my questions about the game.

Nevertheless, all of these disadvantages are outweighed by the unparalleled depth of magic, strategic features, passionate community, awesome battles, and near infinite replayability. If you can overcome the downsides and are itching for a god-sim game, don't sleep on Dominions. You might just get obsessed.

Ridiculously fun. Pure, distilled dopamine. Visually, perfect, mechanically, perfect, sound design, perfect.

I mean, this is a 10/10 game. It sets out to do something and executes it perfectly. If you like roguelikes, card games, or are at all interested in this game, buy it. You will love it.

Fantastic co-op from the people who made Magicka. They just focused on the fun; and it worked.

I did it. After 90 hours. I beat my first playthrough, and I haven't even touched the DLC.

Underrail is a hardcore -and I mean HARDCORE- turn based RPG. Honestly, it is among the best RPGs I've ever played. Very few games have immersed me so deeply into the setting.

Be warned however, it is not easy. Do not choose anything higher than normal difficulty for your first run. Be prepared to save A LOT. You will die A LOT. It's about figuring out how to fight every situation perfectly. There are so many tools to use in any given encounter; the game rewards clever thinking over brute force.

If you're looking to scratch that Fallout/Metro vibe, definitely give this one a look.

This game is the game you are looking for. I get that a lot of Vicky 2 fans are buttmad, but if you want a robust economic and political simulator set from 1833-1933 this is the game for you.

Albeit I never played the predecessor because of how poorly it was optimised for modern systems, but Victoria 3 scratches every itch that I wanted out of the game and more. It's an impassioned journey through arguably the most turbulent period in human history. The game is ABSOLUTELY worth your $30 on sale. If you don't want to pay PDX just get it on G2A or something.

Most of the complaints you see were addressed in recent patches. So if you were waiting to buy, now is the time to hop in. But yeah, the game is great at this point. It might turn into one of my favourite PDX games.

Feels like an asset flip with very little thought given to how the various mechanics should interact with each other. The loop is even more simplistic than your regular mechanic game. You fix the tanks by doing 3 processes, all of which involve staring directly at a part and holding left click until it turns the right colour.

As a tank and history buff I was hoping for more.

Book of Hours is a beautiful leap of faith from the team behind Cultist Simulator.

I remember how my jaw dropped when I first realised how far I could zoom into the mansion. You unveil the Hush House piece by piece, each room unlocking more mysteries; the amazing writing and canon from Cultist Simulator carried over perfectly into this new game.

So I urge you, unveil the Hush House, learn its secrets, become enamoured by the sense of roleplay and scale that this wonderful, mysterious game has to offer.
