For anyone wondering, everything I said in this review still holds up and I still continue to play and support Mod Makers. I have not updated my game on steam in 2 years and launch directly from the .exe, I surely have over 1000 hours with this method at this point. Such. A. Shame.

It was hard for me write this but it needs to be done. Skater XL is a game with amazing potential. The community is amazing and they put everything they can into the game. People hundreds of hours working on mods and maps FOR FREE. Right about now you should be asking, "If the game is so good, why are you down voting?" The Devs. I've supported this game since the day it came out. I've spent hundreds of hours in the game and enjoyed every hour. Ever since 1.0 came out and console dropped everything has gone downhill. I would say that the PC modding community does easily 95% of the work when it comes to making this game playable. Unfortunately, the people on console do not have access to the ESSENTIAL mods to make the game playable (Gameplay Sliders). So most of their player base can't play the game properly. We as a community have tried NUMEROUS times to convince Easy day to add or at least adjust the gameplay sliders. We got a petition to reach over 12,000 signatures and Essentially Easy Day ignored us and added some shirts to the game. We as a community ask for game play improvements, what do they do? Add some shoes. Easy Day won't respond to anyone. Then they have the audacity to make an status update and basically tell us THEY WON'T BE CHANGING OR ADDING ANYTHING. We have a community have had enough. In the past year basically all you have done is break your game physics, screw up the optimization, and piss off everyone who supported and loved your game. Its a damn shame a game with this much potential has gone to waste. If you are thinking of buying this game DON'T. PIRATE the game and spend the 40 bucks on TIPPING THE MOD MAKERS. It will be a better use of your money. Easy Day Studios doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about us. Why should we give a ♥♥♥♥ about them.

Extremely boring and repetitive. No objective to play at all. I can't speak for now but there used to be a really big hacker problem.
