Tiny little game serves has a prologue of Psychonauts 2. Funny writing with some familiar and adorable characters. Highly recommended for fans of the series. It's dirt cheap on sale. :)

well, you need some work before you can play it with quest 2. Check the community guide for details. And there is ZERO tutorial about controls, which caused me a lot of confusion at beginning.

However the graphics are nice, better than some of the recently released VR games. And seeing the characters and environments from arkham universe is pleasantly nostalgic.

Since ACE 7 doesn't has VR mode on PC, this is the best alternative for some arcade flight shooting fun in VR. :D The optimization in VR leaves much to be desired, but I found that turning down cloud resolution can alleviate the problem.

My go-to coop VR shooter. As a middle aged man, I have much more fun shooting not-so-stupid AI enemies with some random guys than playing multiplayer competitively. Yes it feels like a budget COD but hey devs got most of the feelings right.
Yes the player base is quite small now, but I have no problem finding guys playing together in Europe server. And the server is quite nice, as someone based in China and playing on EURO server I barely feel any lag. :D

Best story in the series, and most bugs in the series.

这次黑五买的玩得最开心的游戏。个人虽然不是什么XCOM大手子，难度超过困难碰都不碰，但是之前两代本体加扩展包难度通关都还觉得挺有乐趣的。之前看这个奇美拉小队不是全价游戏，加之大家评价一般，所以觉得可能是公司榨取IP的边角料作品所以没有入。不过看黑五如果入手过XCOM2居然只要10元（其实实际价格是5元，但是只有补全另外一个5元DLC才能享受这个价格），觉得怎么也不得亏吧就入了。

这一玩发现我错了，虽然基本人物模型场景都是XCOM2复用，而且过场都是2D手绘PPT，看得出经费有限，但是游戏机制上的改革让这款游戏有了不少新意。

这次我们不再是地下抵抗组织，而是类似SWAT的警察部队，面对的不是开阔大场景而是封闭空间，所以在游戏开始有经典的breach环节。根据场景和队员不同，可以选择直接踢门或者绳降进去，也可以选择用炸药，如果是眼镜蛇人还能钻通风管道，在破门的时候还能选择闪光弹、烟雾弹、扫描手雷或者武器干扰手雷等各种装备，很有CQC的气氛。不过需要注意不同入口可能会给你不同的buff或者debuff，比如有的入口进去虽然敌人不会发现你，但是武器会受干扰下次射击前需要重新装填，这时候就要考虑使用灵能或者眼镜蛇等不需要武器也能输出的队员进入。不过相应地因为不再是残酷的战争，队伍不允许减员，如果队员倒地没有及时治疗，任务就会失败。

再就是移动顺序从一方所有人员移动完以后再交替，变成了一个角色移动以后另外一个角色交替，这个改变让游戏的思路发生了很大改变，比如之前在一回合所有角色交叉overwatch建立火力网的打法不再适用，因为你如果一个角色overwatch了下回合是对方角色的话可能会从空挡溜进来打断你。再就是不少技能施放是不占行动点或者不结束回合的，这样打起来推进会更灵活。此外通过升级，角色还能解锁一个整场只能使用一次但是十分强力的终极大招，往往可以起到绝境一发逆转的效果。另外这次登场角色不再是和XCOM正统一样是随机生成不同兵种，本作角色不多但是都有自己独特的技能树，如何使角色配合发生化学反应也是玩点，听外星和人类队友拌嘴也挺有乐子。不过这里要吐槽出任务之前的简报并没有敌人类型，如果带了眼镜蛇但是对面很多机器人，那这关你可能会打得很痛苦（眼镜蛇的强力技能诸如捆绑窒息和毒液都对机器人无效）。

中等难度下通关时长大概20小时，如果玩过前作，少数关会给你一点压力需要重试几次，但是肯定可以顺利通关。

Jokes aside, I still can't recommend this game after beating it. The graphics are awesome, and some set pieces are amazing. You've got a chance to experience the mysteries and glorious moments in human civilization. And that are all the merits of this game. The story is serviceable, however the controls are clunky. You often snap to the objects you don't want to, and twisting knobs is a pain, I hate the RC car sessions... And sometimes you get stuck because the prompts of NPC doesn't show up or some air walls for no reason. Puzzles don't encourage multiple solutions, for example, you can only open the Edison crate with a cutter, not by shooting the lock or a crowbar. Not many, but some puzzles are recycled. It seems to be the first game of the dev, and they did a great job visually. Hope they can improve in the aspects I mentioned above and make a great game next time.
