A fun little power-fantasy game. Starts off as a struggle, but can quickly become a steam-roller if you get lucky in the shop and make use of the DPS bars in the lower-right to guide your choices.

At present it is being held back by a plethora of bugs. Packs of enemies can spawn and just stand still waiting to die. The skills will eat the rare runes you find - you slot them in and they disappear, uncertain if their effects are being applied. The stats display seems to be a bit out of sync to the effects of the items being purchased. Language translations needs to be tightened up as a bunch of text either doesn't make sense or is just missing some key info to help explain the effect.
It's difficult to make informed purchasing choices in the shop when the item information is lacking in detail.

It's well worth the current price and I am looking forward to following along this development journey.

Really great replayability with this title. Lots of random event and choices that really matter to your playthrough. It's fun to try out new strategies and different loadouts with the variety of different ships and layouts you can unlock.
Some of the achievements are quite difficult, especially the ones relying entirely on random factors.

If you enjoyed Terraria this game will absolutely not disappoint! I have been thoroughly enjoying the co-op experience with some friends, but the one major sticking point is the lack of "blueprints" to help speed up mundane base building tasks. Particularly, mashing out a bunch of the same shape & furnished houses - I should be able to copy paste plans/layout and have my NPCs craft/deliver and install walls, floors, and furniture to complete the project. In addition - they need a way to save the player from burning a couple hours each new game world clicking through menus just to set up a storage warehouse. I have built a nice storage system once, I want to save that plan and be able to import it (with storage settings) into another game. I want to play a spelunking exploration game, not a micro-managed warehouse simulator (at least that's not my kind of fun).

If I could bring only one game with me while travelling between distant solar systems to virtually play while in my deep cryptocasket sleep - this would be it.
My staggeringly ugly, psychite addicted, one armed, Alzheimer suffering doctor probably wouldn’t recommend it, but the last time I saw him he was wandering outside to rescue someone downed by a rabid manhunter pack… so I’m less than keen on his advice.

This is the best bang for the buck game I have ever owned. Plenty of random generation to support replayability for ages. Single or multiplayer - I highly recommend it, there's something fun for everyone.

Picked this up on sale to play with some friends. Glad to save a few bucks until it melted my GTX 660... so, not too happy anymore. Fun enough game, some tough missions when the heat is turned up, barely care to follow the story, a lack of a need or desire to upgrade at 15+ hours. Annoyed by infinitely spawning reinforcements, bugged missions, and difficulties interacting with objects.
I enjoyed The Division more than this so far.

If calm, survival, skin-of-the-teeth city builders are your thing, then here is your cup of tea.
I watched some streamers play this for a little while, became frustrated by their mistakes, bought it myself to play it "right" - became bored shortly thereafter... it's now shelved collecting dust.
There's just not much to it, maybe some community mods could spark it up, but I'm done with it already.

I'm so sad how far off the mark this "rogue-like" actually lands.
It's entirely possible you don't survive the second room; how is this fun? Effectively nothing carries forward from one life/adventure to the next. There's no learning curve to be enjoyed, no gradual progress to feel satisfied about.
I don't get it, and neither should you!
