The King is dead, long live the King!

Improving slowly, though definitely a subpar release. I hope in the end it live up to the expectations and vision the team had

I was on the fence but this game is great! Lots of content and just an overall fun experience. Very much like Banished but with some actual progression mechanics! I love this game!

The number one reason I bought a HTC Vive. This is an excellent game and I love every bloody moment of it!

Immersive, expansive, detailed! Heartily recommended!

This game is breath taking. The detail is astounding. Every piece of armour, every tapestry, every wall painting, every article of clothing. Rarely does a game get the Medieval period so right

My only complaints are that it does have a few bugs and glitches here and there. In addition to the hiccups it also is quite a demanding program so best to not pick this up if you're hardware isn't up to the task. Hardware from this generation or last is my suggestion.

Price of entry can be seen as a little steep. If you're on the fence I suggest waiting for a Steam sale.

Love it, everything I want in a 4X. This is the Grand-Strategy Paradox promised!

This game is absolutely amazing. It completely draws you in, your heart will be beaten, mashed and crushed but you will feel some of the deepest emotions you've ever felt in a video game.

My own personal story:
I had a small group of survivors. We'd been fairly cohesive and effective for the first couple weeks of the war, then we got a new survivor to the group. She was badly hurt and sick but I felt this deep compassion after reading her story. She's barely escaped with her life when soldiers (Never learned if they were government or rebel soldiers) burnt her village and killed her family. I knew we needed to help her, so I sent Marco out to gather some medical supplies so we could nurse her wounds and treat her infections.
Marco crept through an abandoned hospital to find our desperately needed supplies. There was a chance there would be soldiers but that was the only place left with medical supplies. Marco found the last of the supplies that were desperately needed. He made his way towards the exit when suddenly, a group of soldiers burst in from the way he came. Panicking, Marco sprinted towards the other exit as gunfire and curses were shot in his direction. The exit was within arms reach as two bullets lodged themselves in Marco's back. He collapsed dead on the floor.
I was in shock. This character, this person, I had grown attached to and heard their story was now gone, forever. I sat there and read as everyone in the group tried to come to grips with Marco's death. They cried the entire day, no one could be motivated to do anything, I cried with them. For a solid ten minutes I sat in front of my computer weeping over Marco, this friend I'd felt I'd known was lost. All the while the song from the soundtrack "We keep going" played in the background.

I cannot recommend this game enough to people but be forewarned, this game will leave you feeling some of the deepest emotions a game has ever made you feel.

Some little bugs here and there and the occasional crash but other than that it is a solid game. Similar to other entries into the series. A good journey into Pre-Republican Rome's history.

After nearly two years of development this team barely has a mod let alone a stand alone game. I cannot warn people enough to stay clear of this garbage.

There are only a handful of infantry squads, the heaviest weapon either side can bring out is a mortar and even these units feel like place holders. What did you guys do with my backing money? Smoke it? It doesn't look like they did almost anything with it.

Don't be fooled by the screenshots this is barely a MoW Assault Squad 2 mod.

I can't believe I actually backed this two years ago and this is all they could provide.
