Stuck in a raging blizzard with a broken arm. Again. Nothing to do but search through the inexplicably-abandoned area and find a way to reach help. This is a time before smartphones, let alone the average person having a cellphone/dumbphone.

Very fun, Flash-era-style horror point-and-click with minimal jumpscares.

A wonderfully-surreal experience, you play as Beth, a woman living in a world where people have simply begun disappearing. You chance upon a wounded woman and her eccentric companions - and what you do from there will determine your fate and theirs. You can bring happiness to someone...but only one. Who will you choose?

Garten of Banban if the devs actually cared about the product they were making from day 1.

Imagine if Agent 47 was a werewolf with a craving for human flesh, but he had an actual job as a janitor. Combine it with excellent stealth gameplay, and that's The WereCleaner in a wonderful, glorious nutshell.

A fun, challenging, but fair puzzler, Machinika: Museum tasks you with figuring out how to operate various alien devices for the sake of preservation. From anti-grav units to e-paper scrolls to the very boxes used to secure them, there's a lot to observe, tinker with, and solve.

Welcome aboard the Zhukov Line, comrade. Your job is simple: keep the pipes welded shut, the micro-reactor fueled, and the cargo sedated. Those banging sounds? Those are the sounds of progress being lost. Don't let them get closer. And yes, that's you at the end of the train.

Serve for 3 days or for as long as progress is maintained, whichever comes first. Either way, good luck, comrade....

Fine little game! Short, sweet, to the point, and definitely screams for an expansion of the concept.

The very first game in the legendary series of Japanese ARPGs, play as Adol and bump and tear a bloody path through the local, mist-locked island's monsters as you help the locals survive and uncover the mystery keeping them trapped here. This version of the game comes with multiple graphics and music modes, letting you experience the game in widescreen comfort and a modernized soundtrack or in its not-quite-4:3 original format with tunes closer to the source material.

One-quarter Silent Hill, three-quarters its own, unique thing graphically straight out of the days of 3D-accelerated MS-DOS games, SIGNALIS casts you as an ever-determined, ever-improvisational ESTER unit as she ventures through a neo-Communist work site in a desperate search for her lover and pilot. Straightforward enough, except something wrong has corrupted the workers and staff, turning them into crazed killers with a variety of powers which will keep you on your toes. And you're going to have to fight, survive, and puzzle your way down (and up?) and through the source of all this madness if you want to see your beloved again.
