We had to wait a long time, but when New Mexico came out it didn't disappoint me. The landscape looks very nice. There are new industries, new content and a lot of new features. You sure have to give it a try! Rating: 9 out of 10.

When you are looking for a truck simulator, then American Truck Simulator is a good start. It gives you 3 American states on the west coast to let you show your expertise. In the future more states will come as downloads. When you're familiar with ETS2, then ATS is also a good choice. Made by the same developers it looks very familiar. But it has its own look and feeling. America is not Europe, of course. Play the game, drive the long American roads to earn your money, (the roads will even seem longer as soon as the re-scaling is done), buy garages and build a fleet of Peterbilts and Kenworths. Hire drivers to make your company even more succesfull. Enjoy the landscapes while on duty, get overwhelmed with colors of sundown. Be amazed by the architecture of the big cities and huge bridges.

Like ETS2, ATS has an auto-save function, so you can always go back in time when things are running out of hand. The game can be played with all kind of devices, but keyboard and mouse also works very fine.

But perhaps the greatest fun about ATS is the community, making all kind of mods to modify the game and give it the look you want. There are hundreds of free mods to find, as well in the easy to reach workshop as on several mod-websites. Trucks, trailers, trafic, sounds, landscapes, new states and countries, weather: it's all there for you to explore. Choose wisely, but most of the time these mods are of a good quality. And if you don't like it, just remove it. ATS has a decent built-in mod-manager, even showing when mods don't work properly anymore because they are out of date. And that is a bit of a down side: while ATS is evolving, not all mods are always adapted. But that is of course always a problem with stuff made by third party (partly amature) developers. This problem also exist with other games.

Over all, American Truck Simulator is a great game, worth the money. I rate it 9 out of 10.

ADDED november 2017.
In november 2017 there came a new DLC for the game: New Mexico. Now the game is even better. Longer distances, more industries, new features. If you like to play American Truck Simulator, you have to consider to add New Mexico too.

ADDED november 2018.
And again a year has passed. ATS is still a great game and with the coming of Oregon and the Special Transport DLC's it's even better. Oregon is a very nice state, completely different from the other ones. SCS has done a good job with this state. Recommended!

Diving into the world of Submerged is a pretty experience. The game is easy to play and is quite relaxing. Graphics look good, especially sunrise and sunset show nice effects. The music is good too.

You play a girl who has arrived with her sick brother in a flooded city. In order to keep him alive you have to search for medications. Meanwhile you can find secrets telling the history of yourself and of the town. And you need abandoned boats from which you can use parts to keep your own boat in tact. To locate al this things, you can use a binoculars. At first face the city seems abandoned, but when the game evolves you find out it isn't. But who are those creatures? Well, that you have to find out yourself!

The girl you are playing deserves deep respect! She's exploring the city, finding landmarks, avoiding collisions with big water creatures and she has to climb steep walls of high buildings. Again and again. Even when she gets ill herself, she still takes care of her little brother.

As said, this is not a hard game to play. I sure can recommand it, rating it 8/10.

Waardering: 7.

Many gamers are running around and shooting with all kind of weapons. World of Guns: Gun Disassembly is all about real world weapons. It is not a violent game. Main part of the game is about disassembling and assembling your gun. There are a lot of different weapons, some with few and some with many parts, and about each month there is released a new one. You can play this free game the way you like. When you are only interested in how to dismantle your weapon, go ahead. Want to know how it works? Use slow motion and cutaway views. But you can also play on time and try to beat the daily number 1 or try to get a place in the top 100. It's all up the you. Disassembling and assembling and operating your weapon is giving you experience points, with which you can unlock new guns. When preferred you can buy the game (not a cheap game, but this week 50% off!), which unlocks all weapons at once. Or you can buy parts of the game like e.g. WW2 weapons. The free game takes longer to collect the needed points for unlocking a new weapon but there are no other restrictions. So why not give it a try! As for me, it's a fun game to play and I can really recommend it. For a free game I give it a 9 out of 10.

Universe Sandbox is not a bloodcurdling, adrenaline pumping action game, but if you like solar system or galaxy movements, simulations or predictions, it sure is a thrilling simulator.
