Sorry, I just saw your comment. Yes, I'm running Steam on FreeBSD 13.2 and 14.0 There are two ways that I run Steam with Mizuma and with linux-steam-utils Both use proton for gaming. It's pretty legit.

Hey, dude! Thank you so much for trading.
Don't hesitate to contact me back whenever you need.

Just out of curiosity, did you know about this fact?
In eighteenth-century English gambling dens, there was an employee whose only job was to swallow the dice if there was a police raid.

I know that's why i feel consoles and physically owning a copy of the game is actually quite good, however, ever console is running non-free software but at the end of they day at least it follow unix philosophy in some way. A single 'device' that does one thing well.
tuxdelux 14 May, 2020 @ 12:22am
I have such a hard time understanding that developers can change or add an EULA after you have "purchased" the software, and by not agreeing, you can get cut off from using the software. I understand that the "purchase" is a license to use, but the terms of the license were already agreed upon, when money passed hands. It seemed to me that I was buying a license to use the software forever, but now I am seeing that is not the case. That's scary.
[GNU] Bob 13 May, 2020 @ 11:37pm
Hi, I read your post on Bernanke's side and just wanted to agree with you. It is like buying a good book and after an update you are left with an issue of the sun :lunar2019scowlingpig:

And sometimes the still grand the refund even after two weeks, due to technical issues, if you explain you're case and insist, but i got the feeling that it all depends on the person who is handeling your case.
Enigmatic 13 May, 2020 @ 7:42pm
Yeah regarding Eula. There should always be opt out options for data collection. This way I have no issue with it. Even more likely to enable it and not try to block it in some round about way. Xcom 2 removes challenges but you can play single player with out accepting it which is much appreciated.

Sometimes my game whites out like that, maybe 15% of the time, I reboot and it goes fine. I don't really understand why it's so buggy.
tuxdelux 27 Jul, 2019 @ 1:24pm
Thank you for the Proton recommendation. I did try that exact fix, but the game maps where all white and unplayable. I tried to mention that in my review, and I will clarify it further.
NuclearPoweredBadger 27 Jul, 2019 @ 1:00pm
Hey mate, tried to contact you but comments are disabled on you PA review, my copy was borked too but I dunno if you've tried proton and setting launch options to:

%command% --software-ui

I need to alt F4 after a match but the game seems to work fine until I try to get back to menu, hope this helps you somewhat.
cbones - LINUX 24 Jul, 2019 @ 11:47am
It was brutal! I actually had to quit last night on the final boss because I had such a headache. I was very disappointed it did not let me load from the last save point. Instead I had to play several scenes over again, including the 2nd-to-last boss and "deathshield" level.
tuxdelux 19 Jul, 2019 @ 6:26am

Finally got the F710 working with it, finally was able to get past the tutorial and play a bit :).
Cíphęr廾awK 17 Jul, 2019 @ 10:55am
Thanks for the info. I'll keep trying to tweak it and see if I can get it working by turning some of the configs on/off.
tuxdelux 17 Jul, 2019 @ 9:57am
I had the same problem. I think after turning on (or off) the Steam Controller Configuration for Xbox Controllers, then it worked fine. But, I see that we are using different gamepads. I use the Gamestop @play xbox-type controller.
Cíphęr廾awK 17 Jul, 2019 @ 9:28am
Regarding Bully Beatdown: This is the configuration I am using with it: https://d.pr/i/paaugV - I also have a PS controller and a logitech F710 and with all of these it fails to go through the tutorial (especially when trying to do the "stomp" move, it will not do it with any key that is pressed.

Have to play Doom using dual boot as it barely plays on my board as it is (LattePanda Alpha 864), so can't afford the performance penalty for super heavy games like Doom. I play most other stuff with Proton / Steamplay though, or natively of course. But Doom, Tekken, Wolfenstein New Colossus etc - have to be played with dual boot for now, at least on my machine they do.
headlesscyborg 26 May, 2019 @ 3:57am
xboxdrv never worked for me, literally unsuable, keeps pressing and holding buttons automatically. No idea why but xpad works 100%
