Before the invasion mode this series has always been something that I liked. Just one playthrough, maybe a second one and after that I left it for the time being.
Now that we got the invasion mode - everything has changed. Got to 100 kills as invading sniper earlier than I wanted and I loved it. Whether it's me playing the campaign to get an extra challenge that might end getting personal or whether I was the invading one that changed the mission more difficult for the stranger - it's hilarios, intense and so much fun.
I gotta say though, I had some players who where just waiting for me to invade them and played me really dirty. For example one player hid on the highest floor in the lighthouse in the DLC map "Landing force" because no one was able to enter this without using the final ladder. So he just waited there for me to come up and get an easy kill. But those are small problems in a very good game. Really reccommend it.

Sweet little game for 3-5 hours playtime for the first playthrough.

The voice actors really carried this game for me. The dynamic between both main charakters is very strong und authentic!
Graphics are not really important but it's worth mentioning that they further support the kind of game we are playing - and that is a story driven little novel without too much gameplay. Make sure you are fine with that or that you really wanna try a game like this before you buy.

The end gives you something to think about. I really like games that make me think about it after playing.

Blackmailing my colleagues has never been this fun

Now this was a weird game. And I loved every second of it.My girlfriend asked me: "What on earth are you playing there?!?" *Me trying to explain* "And.... this is fun? Cause it certainly doesn't sound like fun at all."And you might think something like this as well. But it's hella fun. There is a certain inexplicable joy in controlling random citizens and finding out whether they are just trying to make a living out of delivering goods or whether he tries to smuggle weapons, drugs (or even worse: CHICKENS).Even better: You get involved in deep criminal stuff although this seemed to be a small little police on the border of two countries.Don't wanna spoiler too much stuff: It's worth it. Watch some gameplay videos. Many players might fall in love after just a few hours of gameplay.

This game is really fun. Like, it wasn't easy to complete a run. It took me 5 trys and I really tried hard to get the last one working.

So you have to watch out for everything - which muds do you got, which muds have you found in which location, which scenario is going to happen soon - 'cause you really need to be prepared for everything. Sometimes it's plain trial and error but best idea is to have a look here[this-war-of-mine.fandom.com].

It took me 34 hours to get my first playthrough to a good end (although I have to admit, there has been like 10 hours idling to read guides and stuff while the game is open). Most games would get me into a "Meh, this game sucks. Can't be arsed to get my head around it." but this one really caught my attention and got my into a "Challenge freaking accepted" mode. Gotta try and have some more successfull tries with different teams and playstyles. Big shout-out to the video game developers.

Now that I think about it - this game tries to convey the feeling of human beings caught up in a war scenario and while this game already manages to paint a very gloomy mood in someone's mind - one should notice that this only the tiniest spark of horror that someone might suffer from.

Very fun game. Only thing that I am missing right now, is a proper specating and replay mode.

Great game, for obvious reasons. Nuff said.

222 hours ingame - so what about doing a review?

I bought this game right at the start. I actually wanted to buy H1Z1 although it received heavy criticism because the developers stopped to work on the game and ignored many problems like bugs and hackers.
So when I was about to buy H1Z1, I heard that there is this new game coming out and that the developers were putting really much work into it.
I changed my mind and bought this game without even watching gameplay videos or screenshots.

The game started sloppy and had many bugs, performance problems and even a few hackers.
But now that it's out for a few months, it improved in many ways, the performance is good right now, the graphics are somewhat nice and even hackers are getting dumped.

At the beginning the developers brought many patches in no time to face really annoying bugs and worked really hard.
Now the patches are getting realeased rarely, but they do bring a lot of content and fix many issues at once. Furthermore, they contain lots of new stuff (weapons).

This game is at a very good point. I totally recommend buying PUBG, since the performance is great now and it outclasses H1Z1s in every way.
So if you're looking for a King of the Hill based game - this game is your game of choice. Enjoy.

I could probably tell you stories and write books about it but I'll make it short: It's perfect. Even if there are some struggles, there is so much love and fun in this one game... Jeez. Just freaking buy it, alright?

I don't get why people are downvoting this. It's optional, it's free and it gives a huge performance boost, even if people are too blind to see the difference between those graphics.
