I really love this game but understand the criticism. Its short, like 6 hours short if you dont do subquest and storyline.

Crashes before it even opens. Camera is hell on earth. Camera is built for controller with no adaptation for PC. Common things like adjusting camera via mouse is non-existent. They should of played a handful of games like this to learn design basic.

They launched the game knowing the sound was broken. Its unplayable its it current form IMO. So many sounds, dialogue, and cues are just gone or muddled. Halo is known for its great sound effects, its like playing half the game without them. The problem cant be "fixed" either, as they couldnt find a solution in older halos and had to redo all sound effects. So the sound most likely wont be fixed anytime soon because like the older titles they have to redo everything.

I dont understand how more people arent downvoting this horrible port.

"Audio Issues

To update Halo: Reach for Xbox One and PC required entirely changing the encoding for the game’s audio which has resulted in it sounding different from the original release. We are aware that areas of the title don’t sound like what you or we ideally want them to. It will take some time to work through solutions to improve the overall experience for audio and that work is already underway. When it is ready, we will flight to test the fixes we can make prior to updating the title. We also plan to go into more detail on our Reach audio journey in a later blog."

Game and AI is broken. No late-game challenge.

This a game where devs just do not care. Long standing game breaking bugs and rampant cheating.

1, My kd is 2.8 and my last 3 deaths where one shot kills thru walls with no visibility to enemy player. This isnt soley due to cheating but a frequent glitch in which structures fail to render.

2. Constant Flickering about 100 fps. They've known about this for over a year with no resolve.

3. Weapon malfunctions. While it is not a feature in the game weapon malfunctions are common. Like the mosin firing a 2nd shot as soon as it cycles the bolt without a trigger being pulled.

Horrible port. Literally 0 effort given. Not even keyboard map for tutorial. To quit you have to die and got to main menu, esc was never linked. 1080p is highest quality, enemies still disapear and reapear even though hardware is good enough, the game still thinks you pc is an xbox. Dont accept garbage, dont buy.
