Well if you enjoyed the surprise reveal so much then you've answered your own question ;) I definitely think it's best to let others discover it for themselves too, glad to see you've changed it. Sometimes we need a little time to process things. I keep a file with notes on games and usually only publish reviews the next day or so.

I'm unsure whether to spoil it by telling people it's a game about coming out or not. What do you think? I'm erring towards keeping the secret, because even though I'm not "pro" Trans rights, I'd like to think I'm more open minded than Sam's parents and his old girlfriend were. I really enjoyed the surprise reveal of the main topic. I had this game in wishlist for so long that I had forgotten why I had wishlisted it. I guess I'm using your prompting to better organise my thoughts. I'm also trying to be very honest in my writing, and not yet got the patience needed. I'm also not taking my own advice on writing skills LOL.

It is. I'm trying to get better at writing these and need to go back and rewrite a load of them. I normally write a longer piece in the group-forum about each game and add it to a relevant thread, and then rewrite my review.

I had no idea that A normal lost phone was even about LGBTQ, when I launched it, and so when playing through I was totally so blown away by the story that I had to just put down my ideas quickly before I go to bed.

I looked at FixFox a while back for some reason. I've wishlisted it now that I understand more of it's creative process. Road trip tomorrow, so offline for a bit will take up my curating duties, still working on a curating ang guiding guide, going to practise a bit with my private "test" group and perfect knocking out guides quicker too.
