This is way more fun than expected!

- The soundscape is great, you can hear the hulls creaking under tension, the point defense cannons low rumble, the jolt of getting hit, ...
- The graphical effects strike a fine balance between feeling meaty and remaining legible.
- The gameplay is deeper than it ought to be: tether can be used to make ships collide, to tear apart turrets, to perform fast and tight evasion maneuvers, to speed boost yourself before ramming, to deactivate torpedoes, to disorient drones, to fling missiles or ammo box into enemies, to rearrange the battlefield, ..

For example you might tear apart a flammable cargo, make it drift toward a large enemy ship, puncture it, then set ablaze the oil spill with your exhaust with a risky fly-by. All the while evading shells and missiles, opportunistically bind wrecks to enemies, and plan trajectories at the limit of safety.

The first ten levels are a bit hard because your ship is so slow and vulnerable. Later levels have stronger fleet, but as your ship gets faster, more nimble, sturdier, and your tether improved, as well as by learning the game, difficulty stays manageable.

I thought it would be a crappy cheap 2d shooter that'd I drop after a few minutes, but this game proved to be surprisingly compelling.
