Okay. This game has about... 50? levels. Something like that. It's not terrible. I beat the entire game is less than 3~ hours. Not much of a challenge for a puzzle game. However, if you do like puzzle games, it's worth trying.

NOTE : As of this writing, on Sunday night 11/10/2024, the game produces an error if you try to launch it normally. You can fix it easily, by going into the steam folder where the game is installed, and renaming the exe and the _data folder, to "Zombie GO Remastered" for the exe, and "Zombie GO Remastered_data" for the folder. That will fix the launch error, and you can play normally, and Steam will record your game time. Simple error by the devs.

Was it worth playing at least once? Yes. Especially if you're a fan of Aliens franchise.

I just can't get myself to give this game a negative review. It's Aliens. They tried. But this was not very good. First off, this game came out in 2013... but the graphics look like an early 2000s game. And the gameplay? It plays like an early Call of Duty or Medal of Honor game from 2002. This was 10 years outdated even when it came out in 2013. If you have ever played ALIEN Isolation, the graphics are night and day difference, and ALIEN Isolation was released just 1 year later in 2014. So, I don't know what happened here, did they use an old engine or something.

The story is just bad. I love popcorn action films, but this game had an over the top campy cartoony action story, that was just.. bad. It was nothing like James Cameron's masterpiece, Aliens (1986). Yes, the movie had action in it, and marines... but it also had a scary tension and ... realism. This game has none of that.

However, it's not terrible. It's worth playing at least once. Especially if you love the Aliens franchise. The game has many references to the 1986 film, including Legendary weapons that belong to many of the characters from that film. Set pieces direct from the film, etc.

And that last boss fight.. what in the earth was that. So bad.

But still, you can tell they tried to make a love letter to the franchise... even if they did a poor job of it.

Worth playing at least once... but it's not as good as Alien Isolation.

This is an amazing game. I loved it. I played it as a build up to the upcoming Alien Romulus movie here in August 2024. I hope they make more Alien games like this some day.

My big advice, without spoilers : There is one area of the game you will feel... a certain way. Just realize the game eases up after that, but it's meant to terrorize you and make you feel like you really are being stalked and hunted. Don't give up. At one point, I was annoyed, but I made it through, and I'm glad I did.

- I love this genre, survival crafting basebuilding zombies, etc. But I did not like this game.
- The base building in this game is almost non-existent.. you don't build a base like in other games, like Valheim, or The Forest.. in here, the base building is just click yes/no on whether or not you want to build X addition at this specific pre-determined spot, and it builds it for you, and it's inside of your main base (that you don't build either - you drive around the city and pick a location from the available options)
- I did not like this game because it's a constant spam of missions/quests, and they are timed.
- IF you do not travel to the location and do the mission, there are consequences. A survivor can die, morale can go down, etc.
- Even worse, your NPC Survivor team goes off and gets themselves into trouble all the time. You do not get to choose what your team does. They are autonomous, and dumb.
- Every single in-game day, you will be spammed by a survivor who went out, "Is in trouble and needs your help!" before the timer runs out on that mission. Every single day. And this is on top of the other 3-5 missions that are popping up, some being side missions and some being main story.
- And if you don't go do them, they can die, you lose team morale, or they can get injured and now you have to wait for them to be healed at your base.
- There's just too much going on and it's not fun.
- I don't have time to play the game I want to, explore how I want to, base build how I want to, etc.



- Don't get me wrong, game is well made. I just don't like it, it's strange. There's no real base building, your survivor team is incompetent and annoying...

- I liked the idea of the game, just not the execution.


Final comments : Get it if you like this genre. You may enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I need freedom in the survival crafting basebuilding, and this game didn't provide it. I own the sequel to this game and will play it eventually, hopefully it's better.

- Campaign has 40 puzzles, each is a unique puzzle that you need to solve
- You have to plan out the tracks and bridges so your train can pick up all cargo, and reach the exit
- Red train can only pick up red cargo, and blue trains <-> blue cargo
- Quality of life upgrades from Railway Islands 1 (RI1) - you can now manually set the track switches to plan out the paths

- There is a Custom map maker, so you can create and upload your own puzzles, or download community puzzles made by other players


Final comments : Fun little relaxing puzzle game. Really enjoyed it. Played it to relax while listening to an educational podcast. Will definitely play any sequels or similar games.

- You have to plan out the roads and bridges so your buses can pick up all passengers in the city, and reach the exit
- Yellow buses only pick up yellow passengers, and blue <-> blue
- Extra features like trains and traffic lights and train signals that you will also have to place in some puzzles, to prevent your buses from crashing


Final comments : Fun little relaxing puzzle game. Enjoyed it.

- You have to rearrange the road tiles to get a car from Start to the End.
- There's items on the map, and you have to plan out the puzzle so the car can collect them as it drives to exit
- Different features like tunnels


Final comments : Recommended game, if you like puzzle games. Relaxing while listening to a podcast before I get to working on something.

Fun game. Very simple, but fun.

Basically, it's a "Control the Points" game, but there's some strategy involved. You can send tanks, or attack helicopters, or personnel choppers. Attack helicopters can't capture, but they attack from the air. Personnel choppers can fly across terrain and land and capture, but they don't shoot while flying.

You also have to be strategic in what you capture. Some points have "Bunkers" which automatically provide troops for you to use. Some points unlock Air support, or even Nuclear weapons. Whoeever controls that point, unlocks that ability for that level, as long as you can hold it.

Recommended if you enjoy simple strategy games. I had fun.

My history : I've beaten Bridge Constructor, and Bridge Constructor : The Walking Dead, prior to playing this game, Bridge Constructor Medieval. So I know how to build coming into this game, and how it compares.

This game added a new flavor to the series, my favorite levels were the ones where an enemy army is invading your town, so you have to build a bridge that intentionally fails at the precise moment! Yep, engineer a bridge that fails at the perfect time, so that the entire invading army falls with the collapsing bridge. If the bridge fails too early, some enemies will turn back around and run away and survive. If the bridge fails too late, some enemies will make it across. This new wrinkle was unlike any of the other Bridge Constructors, and I loved those levels.

The game has an overall "story" of a King, tasking you to build bridges to allow supplies across, or soldiers, etc. There are other levels where you have to build a roof over your soldiers, while they cross, to shield them from catapult fire, and hope it can hold up to the abuse.

Recommended game if you like these type of engineering games, or the other Bridge Constructor type games.


The bad :

In Bridge Constructor, and Bridge Constructor The Walking Dead, you could click on a joint and move it. You can't do that in this game. You have to delete your pieces and rebuild it. That's the only thing I didn't like about this, but it's more of a quality of life thing.
