Sony can go suck a fat one. This game was amazing before the PSN nonsense.

I don't review games but I felt compelled after seeing what was happening here. This game is a great mix of tactics, deckbuilder, and roguelike. Think Monster Train and slay the spire had a child.

I see the negative reviews calling the game "unbalanced and too hard". Honestly that's garbage. I have 30 hours and beat all the bosses. It takes time and practice to understand what cards and abilities work well together and don't work well against certain bosses. I love the mechanic of facing my old parties, it keeps the game fresh.

Pros:
More interactive than monster train as you can move units around
Very quick games, a full run can be under an hour
Simple mechanics make it easy to learn while still having complex interactions
So. Many. Deck types
Animation and art excellent
Fresh boss fights (so long as you're winning)

Cons:
Steep learning curve (makes wins so satisfying though)



TL;DR:
Quit negative review bombing and git gud scrubs

Welcome to X-Com the Action Movie where you get to live out all your SWAT fantasies with aliens! The setting and overall feel gives that classic X-Com feel. It's a fresh new take on the game as you bust in buildings like the FBI and arrest some perps. Plus Snek waifu. For 10 bucks right now it's a steal. What else are you gonna do, the whole world is locked down.

Do you like Talisman? How about Warhammer 40K?? If you answered yes to either question then get this and the season pass. If you answered no to both questions, you're probably a heretic and should go purge yourself. The Emperor protects.
