Too much forced Diversity Equity and Inclusion for me.
Game synopsis:
Straight white men - Bad,
Woman - Good,
White men - Stupid and Evil,
Woman - Smart and Leaders.

I started playing this game and really got to like it. I finished first part and was excited to play this one.
Then I noticed that most of the tribe leaders, traders, and significant "good" figures are women.
I was like, OK, the future is matriarch, that is fine. It's been like that hundreds of thousand years ago, I can see it repeating, especially after a population wipe-out.
Then, I encountered way many LGBTQ+ NPCs and I was, OK,diversity, that's somewhat normal, weird that the whole world fell apart but the only human legacy that has prevailed are trans colors.

But as I went trough the game, this narrative that the straight white men are stupid and evil, and women/ women of color being good and important.
It became so strong that I felt bad playing this game.
There were maybe couple of men characters that were of any importance to the narrative.

There is a mission where you need to help a sister from a tribe member that is trans, and everyone in the tribe are against him/her/they/they/them. At the end of the mission, the trans men hit a bully in the face because he was mean to him, and everyone cheered. Also, the tribe members color were trans colors.

I really don't have anything against trans people, or however anyone wants to define themselves. Keep living, you are a person, I do not judge anyone based on gender, color, sexual orientation, or their own definition of how they want to represent themselves. Everyone is blank page to me until they show what kind of person they are.
But this game is so forcefully trying to elevate diversity that I started to feel like I'm being lectured, instead of just enjoying the game. It came to the point where I just couldn't play it anymore. I was discovering new areas and it's always the same narrative, same DEI characters. If I wanted to go to a political rally I would not be sitting at home and trying to have fun playing video games.

Also, all actors talk like they just got off the subway going home to Bronx or East Village. If I closed my eyes and just listened to the audio narrative, I would never guessed that the whole world collapsed. I would think this is GTA IV or similar.

Too bad I only wanted to hang out with robots in the bushes and avoid any NPCs, knowing they will just make me cringe.
Couldn't finish it, had an urge to go out and protest for DEI rights.

Unfinished business, last stretch of the game feels like a chore, content deprived. Played it when it just came out on Origin but forgot the ending and decided to try it again on Steam sale. Now I know why I don't remember the ending, it became so boring late in the game that I lost interest and never finished it. Also that item menu PC port they made should be a federal crime, not even mods could fix it.

Game is broken. Quest lines, Characters, Character avatars doubling. Loot resets after load. Requested refund.

Very nice concept, but game still broken, targeting broken, quest timeline broken, my heart is broken, whish dev's face was broken.
