Day 6 (30 hours):

-Mutant are way too OP in HP (Blood Sucker and Mirage dog are way too powerfull)
-Equipement (even weapon) can be damage by anomalies, costing more than artefacts
-Lag in camps, but fine outside
-You're really ♥♥♥♥ at the begining... it's better next areas with equipements, but cost of repair items make it barely manageable


Day 1 (7 hours of game):

I'm a bit disappointed of this game… i have not played much (6/7 hours), but i’m more handicapped by graphics, mechanics and sounds whereas i used to play the old STALKER games fine on another account…

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
32 Go Ram


-Anomalies look Great
-Some depth in gear customisation
-Difficulty is here
-Weather Hazard look cool (but*)
-New side cover shooting


-Textures of vegetation is really Bad and blocking view most of the time looking like pixel patch, it would have been nearly better without any cause even in High definition, it still looks ugly
-Characters design are Skyrim level, but i can accept it

-Most of props can't be interacted (a few crates can be destroyed and trash moved) or destroyed, resulting an emptiness feeling to the world as for vegetation only blocking the view with no move from enemies passing through or yourselves passing on it... it's empty textures!
-Can't jump/climb above most obstacles, even low heigt (only some fences), i was expecting better
-*Weather Hazard does not seem to have any impact (NPC doing usual, doesn’t seem important)
-No map Radar like the old game (i really miss that… maybe it is unlocked later on?), stealth game is not really viable without it
-Really low amo available (in survival, it can be accepted), can’t sell most weapon drops (cause in red in condition, unsaleable) or dismantle to use it as parts cause you have to repair instead at huge money cost
-Knife is really hard to use (between huge enemies staggering, low reach and huge stamina cost… it’s barely usable)

-Environemental Sounds are omnipresent... too much distractive noises like loud specifics background building or field noises making feeling oppressed (could be a good point if that wasn't quieting actual enemy presence)
-You own walking sounds feel like 2 people walking and still continuing 1 to 1.5 second after stopping... making you confuse
-Really abundant noise for walking into trash (making like a whole group is near you)

-Really bad optimisation (sometime big lag to 1 FPS or lower for no reason, maybe while weather change or loading far textures)
-Not friendly with AZERTY (french Keyboard), taking 15 to 30 min to configure → Still can’t map moving up on ladder other than W
-Game Loading take for me 2.5 min... if you modify graphics you need to launch it again... so 5 min to change graphics...
-Missing the monster Drops (not like old STALKER games, here fighting mutants is just plain loss in amo or healing items)


I don’t have a bad PC, but it’s barely playable form me right now, maybe i need to clean a bit the dust in my tower, but i can play fine BG3, Cyberpunk 2077 or Starfield with fine graphics… so there is still improments to do for this game in this matter!

I advise to wait if you don’t have top grade PC… it’s faithful to the old games… but out of time for graphics while still imperfect in a lot of aspects… it could have been a great game 10 years ago… but it feel like a Half Life 2 graphics with some more textures but without the mecanics… A bit of a shame for a 2024 game, it’s an Old School Game not trying to have some kind of innovation or improvement… a good optimisation could have raised it to be more enjoyable, too bad...
